Need to know: It was a little disappointing
to see Demercado (2-8-0, 2-13-1) play on third downs, the 2-minute
drill at the end of the first half, and the final drive at the
end of game. Benson still got passing work in the base offense
but the five targets will likely be an outlier in that role. For
now, Benson (8-35-0, 5-19-0) owners will need to be comfortable
with lead back status and low-end RB2 value given the Cardinals
below-average offense. MHJ (10 tgts) and Kyler continued their
struggles in the first half before finding a connection later
in the game. McBride led the team with 11 targets.
Need to know: Mooney suffered a
hamstring injury but likely won’t go on IR as the Falcons
have a bye in Week 5. Pitts (5-70-1) is playing much better this
season. He’s tied for 6th in targets among tight ends. Another
hyper efficient day for Bijan (17-75-1, 4-106-0). He now has two
games over 100 yards receiving.
TE Mark Andrews: 30 snaps (55.6%), 26.7% tgt share
TE Isaiah Likely: 25 snaps (25.0%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Rough day for the
Ravens as they lose to the Chiefs 37-20. Lamar left this game
in the third quarter with a hamstring injury? Justice Hill (3-76-1,
5-41-1) played more than Henry since the Ravens we’re trailing
most of the game. Hill can thrive in game scripts like this although
his 71-yard TD run was an anomaly. TE Isaiah Likely did play in
this game but didn’t see a target.
Need to know: Cook (22-117-1, 3-18-0)
leads all running backs in fantasy points per game. Just two touches
for Ray Davis and Ty Johnson. No Bills receiver had more than
5 targets (Shakir). TE Jackson Hawes played more snaps than Kincaid
and Knox.
Need to know: WR Xavier Legette
and TE Ja'Tavion Sanders were Inactive. Less usage for Hubbard
in this game as the Panthers got blown out by the Patriots 42-13.
TE Tommy Tremble tied McMillan for the team lead in targets with
8. WR Jalen Coker is eligible to return from IR in Week 5.
Need to know: TE Colston Loveland
was Inactive. Cole Kmet led the team with 9 targets but finished
with just a 3-46-0 line. This was an offensive struggle for the
Bears against the Raiders as Caleb completed just 59.4% of his
passes and ran 8 times for just 13 yards.
Need to know: 48 offensive plays
are all you really need to know about the Bengals performance
Monday night against the Broncos. Inability to sustain drives
is going to lead to bad fantasy outcomes. Ja’Marr Chase
(5-23-0) led the team with 8 targets. TE Noah Fant was Inactive.
Need to know: Judkins (25 touches)
is the lead back we want Trey Benson to be. Tillman left this
game with a hamstring injury and set to miss multiple weeks. Isaiah
Bond’s usage (55.2% of snaps) should increase moving forward.
Need to know: An offensive explosion
occurred in the Sunday night game between Dallas and Green Bay
which ended in a 40-40 tie. Javonte Williams (20-85-1, 3-15-0)
still has a stranglehold on the backfield workload. Pickens (8-134-2)
led the team with 11 targets. Miles Sanders left in the 2nd quarter
with an ankle injury.
TE Adam Trautman: 42 snaps (51.9%), 7.1% tgt share
TE Evan Engram: 35 snaps (43.2%), 16.7% tgt share
TE Nate Adkins: 34 snaps (42.0%), 7.1% tgt share
Need to know: Big night for the
Broncos offense against the Bengals. Dobbins (16-101-0, 1-4-0)
and Harvey (14-58-0, 4-40-1) split the backfield work almost evenly.
Badie’s limited role the last two weeks is making Harvey
more appealing as a Flex option. Franklin is still viable as a
weekly dart throw in the right matchups. He led the team with
8 targets. Engram missed Week 3 and returned to just a 43.2% snap
rate – he did have 7 targets.
Need to know: Rough game for David
Montgomery (9-12-0). Jameson Williams (2-40-0) led the team with
8 targets but couldn’t connect enough on his deep targets.
TE Tucker Kraft: 79 snaps (95.2%), 13.9% tgt share
TE Luke Musgrave: 25 snaps (30.1%), 2.8% tgt share
Need to know: Monster game for
Jacobs (22-86-2, 4-71-0). Wilson (8-44-0, 3-37-0) was working
as the clear second running back. Doubs (6-58-3) played the most
snaps of the wideouts and led the team with 8 targets - he also
scored three times!
Need to know: Marks (21 touches)
is the back to own in this offense – which is still struggling
despite the 26-0 win against Tennessee. Marks out-carried Chubb
17-13 and is the much better pass catcher (4-50-1). Hutchinson
continues to be involved in three wide receiver sets and is ahead
in the depth chart over the rookies (Higgins, Noel).
Need to know: WR Alec Pierce was
Inactive. Jonathan Taylor had a long TD run called back on a penalty.
While heading into the endzone, WR Adonai Mitchell (3-96-0) dropped
the ball just prior to goaline which rolled out of bounds for
a touchback. Pittman led all wideouts with 10 targets. TE Tyler
Warren (5-70-0, 2-3-1) scored on a goaline carry.
TE Brenton Strange: 50 snaps (73.5%), 23.3% tgt share
TE Johnny Mundt: 25 snaps (36.8%), 3.3% tgt share
TE Hunter Long: 22 snaps (32.4%), 10.0% tgt share
Need to know: WR/CB Travis Hunter
played just 9 of 66 defensives snaps – 0 after halftime. His five
targets were third on the team behind Brian Thomas Jr. (5-49-0)
and TE Brenton Strange. Parker Washington led the wideouts with
and 85.3% snap percentage but had zero targets.
TE Travis Kelce: 48 snaps (65.8%), 14.3% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 41 snaps (56.2%), 2.9% tgt share
TE Robert Tonyan: 12 snaps (16.4%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Xavier Worthy (5-83-0,
2-38-0) got his first real action of the season and made an impact,
leading the team with 8 targets. Worthy’s return took limited
the usage of Thornton (34.2% of snaps). Brashard Smith is the
only KC running back with juice. He’s being used mostly in the
passing game right now but could start to take on more rushing
work as the season progresses.
Need to know: It’s been a rough
start of the season for McConkey (6 tgts, 1 catch) who continues
to see the field but isn’t connecting with Herbert at the moment.
Rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden saw an elevated snap share from
last week (47.6% > 25.6%) but had just 3 targets. Hampton (17
touches) was in a workhorse role as backups Haskins and Vidal
saw just 7 combined snaps.
TE Tyler Higbee: 41 snaps (54.7%), 12.5% tgt share
TE Davis Allen: 22 snaps (29.3%), 2.5% tgt share
TE Colby Parkinson: 21 snaps (28.0%), 5.0% tgt share
Need to know: Corum (9-21-0, 4
tgts) is seeing more action at the expense of Kyren (13-77-0,
3-17-0). Puka (13-170-1) is the best receiver in fantasy football.
Jordan Whittington is working as the No.3 wideout but had just
1 target.
TE Brock Bowers: 40 snaps (76.9%), 30.0% tgt share
TE Ian Thomas: 29 snaps (55.8%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Geno Smith (117-2-3,
4-31-0) was awful but that didn’t stop the breakout party of Ashton
Jeanty (21-138-1, 2-17-2). RB Zamir White was Inactive which gave
Raheem Mostert (4-62-0, 1-11-0) his first game action of the season.
A week after his blowup game, Tre Tucker managed 2 catches for
13 yards.
TE Julian Hill: 40 snaps (69.0%), 7.7% tgt share
TE Darren Waller: 16 snaps (27.6%), 15.4% tgt share
TE Tanner Conner: 9 snaps (15.5%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Brutal knee injury
for Tyreek Hill (6-67-0) with a dislocated kneecap and multiple
torn ligaments. You have to wonder is his career over? Malik Washington
will see increased work moving forward and be a waiver wire priority
this week. Waller (4 tgts) saw his first action of the season
and scored twice. If he can handle it, his role could increase
as well with Hill out.
TE T.J. Hockenson: 71 snaps (93.4%), 11.9% tgt share
TE Josh Oliver: 21 snaps (27.6%), 2.4% tgt share
Need to know: Mason continues to
dominate the Vikings backfield but Scott’s usage in the passing
game (8 tgts) shouldn’t be ignored. Addison (8 tgts) jumped right
into the No.2 wideout role in his first game of 2025.
TE Hunter Henry: 37 snaps (75.5%), 11.8% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 32 snaps (65.3%), 5.9% tgt share
Need to know: Welcome to the 2025
season Stefon Diggs (6-101-0). He led the team with 7 targets
and led all wide receivers this week with a 71.2% target share.
Patriots had just 18 pass attempts in this game. No punishment
for Rhamondre’s two fumbles in Week 3. New England continues to
use a three-headed committee at RB.
TE Juwan Johnson: 60 snaps (89.6%), 12.0% tgt share
TE Jack Stoll: 24 snaps (35.8%), 4.0% tgt share
Need to know: Outside of the top
three, no other Saints wideout played more than 7.5% of the snaps.
Spencer Rattler threw for just 126 yards. Kendre Miller (11-65-1)
has just 3 targets on the season. Olave threw an INT in this game
on a trick play.
Need to know: Nabers tore his ACL
in the first half which leaves a gaping hole in this offense.
Wan'Dale, Slayton and Hyatt will be the three receivers moving
forward. Rookie Jaxson Dart delivered on his rushing floor (10-54-1)
but threw for just 111 yards and was sacked 5 times.
Need to know: The Jets played an
ugly game against the Dolphins. Too many penalties and mistakes.
Braelon Allen (4-26-0) was involved in the offense early but injured
his knee on a kickoff return. TE Mason Taylor was 2nd on the team
in targets (7). Fields may a highlight 43-yard TD run and finished
as the QB6.
Need to know: Just 26 pass attempts
compared to 32 rushes for the Eagles this week. 2 receiving TDs
from Goedert sapped any fantasy value Brown (9 tgts, 2 catches)
and Smith (2 tgts). Will Shipley returned but played just 3 snaps.
Need to know: Jaylen Warren was
a Sunday scratch after popping up on the injury report this week
with a knee issue. Gainwell (19-99-2, 6-35-0) took over the lead
back role, while rookie Kaleb Johnson (6 touches – all runs)
picked up the scraps. Pat Freiermuth (0 tgts) played just 15 snaps
– third amongst the Steelers tight ends. He’s not
worth a roster spot in this Arthur Smith offense.
TE AJ Barner: 57 snaps (86.4%), 12.5% tgt share
TE Elijah Arroyo: 36 snaps (54.5%), 16.7% tgt share
TE Eric Saubert: 26 snaps (39.4%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Charbonnet (12-39-1,
2-5-0) was back and the mean another almost even usage split with
Walker (19-81-0, 1-29-0). As usual, Walker was the more explosive,
efficient player. Just 26 pass attempts for Darnold. TEs Barner
(3-32-1) and Arroyo (2-44-0) are splitting work so it’s
not a great fantasy situation until one of them assumes a better
role.
TE Jake Tonges: 45 snaps (68.2%), 13.5% tgt share
TE Luke Farrell: 32 snaps (48.5%), 5.4% tgt share
Need to know: McCaffrey (17-49-0,
6-92-1) has lost his rushing efficiency (3.3 ypc) but his pass-game
role is insane. His 43 total targets would be T-2nd among all
wide receivers. It seems like Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall
are going to be listed as Questionable all season.
Need to know: Mike Evans was Inactive.
Godwin (10 tgts) returned and stepped right into a full-time role,
playing 80.6% of the snaps. Bucky (15-63-0, 5-102-1) broke off
a long reception for a TD.
Need to know: Ward barely cracked
100 passing yards against a tough Houston defensive front. Ayomanor
led the team with 7 targets. Ridley (3 tgts) can’t be in lineups
right now until this offense gets softer matchups. After the game,
HC Brian Callahan said that Ridley was “fighting through something
that happened in the game”. Tyjae Spears is eligible to come off
the IR in Week 5.
Need to know: No Washington RB
had more than 9 touches this week. This three-headed committee
isn’t’ fantasy friendly especially considering Washington
has a running quarterback. Chris Moore’s snap percentage
(70.2%) is interesting but not really actionable in this offense.
WR Terry McLaurin (quad) and QB Jayden Daniels (knee) did not
play.
