Usage Notes: Week 16

By Mike Krueger | Updated: 12/24/24

Each week, I’ll look at snaps, usage, touches, target shares and pull out the highlights you need to know from each game.

ARI | ATL | BAL | BUF | CAR | CHI | CIN | CLE | DAL | DEN | DET
GB | HOU | IND | JAC | KC | LAC | LAR | LV | MIA | MIN | NE
NO | NYG | NYJ | PHI | PIT | SEA | SF | TB | TEN | WAS

Arizona

Offensive Snaps: 70

RB James Conner: 31 snaps (44.3%), 51.7% rush share, 13.8% tgt share
RB Michael Carter: 25 snaps (35.7%), 17.2% rush share, 17.2% tgt share
RB DeeJay Dallas: 16 snaps (22.9%), 0.0% rush share, 3.4% tgt share

Conner (15-117-1, 4-49-0) had a fabulous day but injured his knee in the 3rd quarter and never returned. Carter (5-18-0, 5-30-0) was the next man up with Trey Benson Inactive. Carter could have an active role in Week 17 if Conner misses.

WR Marvin Harrison Jr.: 57 snaps (81.4%), 27.6% tgt share
WR Michael Wilson: 40 snaps (57.1%), 17.2% tgt share
WR Zay Jones: 27 snaps (38.6%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Greg Dortch: 21 snaps (30.0%), 3.4% tgt share

Harrison (4-39-0) led the team with 8 targets but turned in another uninspiring performance. Kyler has thrown for 300 yards just once all season.

TE Trey McBride: 65 snaps (92.9%), 13.8% tgt share
TE Tip Reiman: 26 snaps (37.1%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Elijah Higgins: 19 snaps (27.1%), 3.4% tgt share

This was a bad time for McBride (3-20-0) to throw up a dud.

Atlanta

Offensive Snaps: 67

RB Bijan Robinson: 50 snaps (74.6%), 57.9% rush share, 7.7% tgt share
RB Tyler Allgeier: 18 snaps (26.9%), 28.9% rush share, 3.8% tgt share

Another run-heavy gameplan from the Falcons which was predictable against the hapless Giants. Two pick-sixes by the Atlanta defense soured any upside of the Falcons offense outside of Bijan (22-94-2, 2-9-0). 12 touches from Allgeier resulted in 31 yards.

WR Ray-Ray McCloud: 61 snaps (91.0%), 15.4% tgt share
WR Darnell Mooney: 60 snaps (89.6%), 23.1% tgt share
WR Drake London: 49 snaps (73.1%), 30.8% tgt share
WR Chris Blair: 25 snaps (37.3%), 3.8% tgt share

First start for rookie Michael Penix Jr. resulted in 27 pass attempts and zero pass TDs. Blair (1-17-0) had been on the practice squad but gets reps in practice with Penix. He got the call up and took a few snaps as London missed some time with a hamstring issue. London (5-59-0) still led the team in targets with 8.

TE Charlie Woerner: 34 snaps (50.7%), 7.7% tgt share
TE Kyle Pitts: 30 snaps (44.8%), 7.7% tgt share

Stick a fork in Pitts (1-7-0).

Baltimore

Offensive Snaps: 62

RB Derrick Henry: 46 snaps (74.2%), 63.2% rush share, 8.7% tgt share
RB Rasheen Ali: 9 snaps (14.5%), 2.6% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Justice Hill: 7 snaps (11.3%), 5.3% rush share, 4.3% tgt share

Henry (24-162-0, 2-27-0) found numerous running lanes in this game but didn’t find the endzone. Hill left early with a concussion and will likely miss Week 17. Keaton Mitchell will likely see the field if Hill misses.

WR Zay Flowers: 54 snaps (87.1%), 34.8% tgt share
WR Rashod Bateman: 50 snaps (80.6%), 13.0% tgt share
WR Tylan Wallace: 25 snaps (40.3%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Devontez Walker: 9 snaps (14.5%), 0.0% tgt share

Nelson Agholor was Inactive. Just 23 pass attempts from Lamar. Flowers (5-100-0) led the team with 8 targets, Bateman had 3. They were the only two BAL wideouts to have a target in this game.

TE Mark Andrews: 47 snaps (75.8%), 26.1% tgt share
TE Isaiah Likely: 41 snaps (66.1%), 13.0% tgt share

Andrews (4-37-1) and Likely (3-29-1) were in their typical roles and both found the endzone.

Buffalo

Offensive Snaps: 59

RB Ty Johnson: 23 snaps (39.0%), 21.4% rush share, 3.7% tgt share
RB James Cook: 21 snaps (35.6%), 39.3% rush share, 11.1% tgt share
RB Ray Davis: 14 snaps (23.7%), 17.9% rush share, 3.7% tgt share

2 more TDs this week gives Cook 16 on the season! He’s averaging 5.1 yards per carry and is currently the RB5 on the week prior to MNF on just 14 touches. Johnson and Davis combined for 12 touches as the Bills continue to use all three of their running backs.

WR Khalil Shakir: 44 snaps (74.6%), 22.2% tgt share
WR Mack Hollins: 42 snaps (71.2%), 11.1% tgt share
WR Keon Coleman: 39 snaps (66.1%), 7.4% tgt share
WR Amari Cooper: 32 snaps (54.2%), 7.4% tgt share

The Bills passing game took the week off as Allen threw for just 154 yards and 1 TD. Cooper (2 tgts) remains only a Flex consideration given his low snap share and the Bills use of four wide receivers. Shakir (2-22-0) led the wideout with 6 targets. No receiver on the team had more than 25 receiving yards.

TE Dawson Knox: 33 snaps (55.9%), 7.4% tgt share
TE Dalton Kincaid: 20 snaps (33.9%), 25.9% tgt share

Kincaid (4-15-0) led the team with 7 targets.

Carolina

Offensive Snaps: 68

RB Chuba Hubbard: 57 snaps (83.8%), 69.4% rush share, 20.8% tgt share
RB Raheem Blackshear: 7 snaps (10.3%), 8.3% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Mike Boone: 4 snaps (5.9%), 2.8% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

The CAR/ARI game went to overtime which benefited Chuba (25-152-2, 4-13-0) as he scored the game-winning TD in the extra period. He handled all but 4 running back touches for the Panthers and continues to have a workhorse role.

WR David Moore: 61 snaps (89.7%), 12.5% tgt share
WR Jalen Coker: 56 snaps (82.4%), 20.8% tgt share
WR Adam Thielen: 40 snaps (58.8%), 25.0% tgt share
WR Deven Thompkins: 7 snaps (10.3%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Dan Chisena: 4 snaps (5.9%), 8.3% tgt share

Thielen (5-43-1) continues to play fewer snaps than the other starting Carolina wideouts but has led the team in target share the last three weeks.

TE Tommy Tremble: 51 snaps (75.0%), 12.5% tgt share
TE Ja'Tavion Sanders: 39 snaps (57.4%), 0.0% tgt share

Zero targets for Tremble.

Chicago

Offensive Snaps: 64

RB D'Andre Swift: 47 snaps (73.4%), 52.9% rush share, 8.1% tgt share
RB Roschon Johnson: 17 snaps (26.6%), 5.9% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

The Bears only ran the ball 17 times against the Lions and six of those came from QB Caleb Williams. Swift had just 12 touches for 53 yards.

WR D.J. Moore: 61 snaps (95.3%), 27.0% tgt share
WR Keenan Allen: 59 snaps (92.2%), 35.1% tgt share
WR Rome Odunze: 53 snaps (82.8%), 18.9% tgt share
WR Collin Johnson: 6 snaps (9.4%), 2.7% tgt share

Allen (9-141-1) led the wideouts with 13 targets, the 5th time this season he’s seen double-digit targets in a game. Moore (7-68-0) had 10 targets.

TE Cole Kmet: 57 snaps (89.1%), 5.4% tgt share
TE Marcedes Lewis: 12 snaps (18.8%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Gerald Everett: 6 snaps (9.4%), 2.7% tgt share

Kmet scored but had just 2 targets. He’s an afterthought in this passing offense.

Cincinnati

Offensive Snaps: 56

RB Chase Brown: 55 snaps (98.2%), 81.8% rush share, 10.7% tgt share
RB Khalil Herbert: 2 snaps (3.6%), 0.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

The only running back to touch the ball for the Bengals was Brown (18-91-0, 3-18-0). Simply an outrageous role.

WR Ja'Marr Chase: 50 snaps (89.3%), 28.6% tgt share
WR Tee Higgins: 40 snaps (71.4%), 39.3% tgt share
WR Andrei Iosivas: 38 snaps (67.9%), 10.7% tgt share
WR Jermaine Burton: 6 snaps (10.7%), 0.0% tgt share

Higgins (8-58-1) led the Cincinnati wideouts with 11 targets. Chase’s TD came on a free play when the Browns jumped offsides and the defense relaxed a bit. He finished with a 6-97-1 line.

TE Drew Sample: 49 snaps (87.5%), 3.6% tgt share
TE Mike Gesicki: 19 snaps (33.9%), 7.1% tgt share
TE Cam Grandy: 11 snaps (19.6%), 0.0% tgt share

Another example of why we can’t play Gesicki (2-14-0) when the wide receiver corps is at full-strength.

Cleveland

Offensive Snaps: 66

RB Jerome Ford: 53 snaps (80.3%), 45.8% rush share, 16.1% tgt share
RB Pierre Strong Jr.: 13 snaps (19.7%), 8.3% rush share, 6.5% tgt share
RB D'Onta Foreman: 2 snaps (3.0%), 8.3% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

Ford (11-92-1, 5-39-0) was the clear lead back for the Browns with Nick Chubb out. Strong and Foreman combined for just 6 touches.

WR Jerry Jeudy: 60 snaps (90.9%), 9.7% tgt share
WR Elijah Moore: 51 snaps (77.3%), 16.1% tgt share
WR Michael Woods: 45 snaps (68.2%), 9.7% tgt share
WR Jamari Thrash: 18 snaps (27.3%), 3.2% tgt share

We figured the Cleveland passing game would struggle to produce points with DTR at quarterback and that’s exactly what happened. He threw for just 157 yards. Jeudy (2-20-0) had just 3 targets.

TE David Njoku: 41 snaps (62.1%), 32.3% tgt share
TE Jordan Akins: 31 snaps (47.0%), 6.5% tgt share

Njoku (8-66-0) led the team with 10 targets but suffered a knee injury in this game and will be a question mark for Week 17.

Dallas

Offensive Snaps: 60

RB Rico Dowdle: 46 snaps (76.7%), 65.0% rush share, 9.1% tgt share
RB Hunter Luepke: 20 snaps (33.3%), 0.0% rush share, 6.1% tgt share
RB Ezekiel Elliott: 3 snaps (5.0%), 5.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

Zeke got one carry… from the one-yard line… and scored. Dowdle (13-23-0, 3-28-0) could’ve used that TD considering he had a muted game running the ball.

WR Brandin Cooks: 46 snaps (76.7%), 9.1% tgt share
WR CeeDee Lamb: 33 snaps (55.0%), 24.2% tgt share
WR KaVontae Turpin: 25 snaps (41.7%), 3.0% tgt share
WR Ryan Flournoy: 24 snaps (40.0%), 9.1% tgt share
WR Jalen Tolbert: 17 snaps (28.3%), 9.1% tgt share
WR Jonathan Mingo: 15 snaps (25.0%), 0.0% tgt share

Lamb (7-105-0) had 100 yards at halftime but spent most of the 2nd half on the bench due to his lingering shoulder injury. No other wideout had more than 3 targets.

TE Jake Ferguson: 35 snaps (58.3%), 27.3% tgt share
TE Luke Schoonmaker: 20 snaps (33.3%), 3.0% tgt share
TE Brevyn Spann-Ford: 13 snaps (21.7%), 0.0% tgt share

Ferguson (6-40-0) led the team with 9 targets.

Denver

Offensive Snaps: 64

RB Javonte Williams: 33 snaps (51.6%), 19.0% rush share, 28.2% tgt share
RB Audric Estime: 13 snaps (20.3%), 42.9% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Blake Watson: 10 snaps (15.6%), 19.0% rush share, 5.1% tgt share

Jaleel McLaughlin was Inactive. Even with McLaughlin sitting on the bench, that didn’t stop the Broncos from using three RBs. Javonte had more receptions (7) than carries (4) but didn’t make much of an impact on the fantasy scoreboard (53 yards). He led the team in targets (11). Estime (9-48-1) found the endzone on just 9 touches.

WR Courtland Sutton: 58 snaps (90.6%), 15.4% tgt share
WR Devaughn Vele: 36 snaps (56.2%), 7.7% tgt share
WR Marvin Mims: 30 snaps (46.9%), 12.8% tgt share
WR Troy Franklin: 26 snaps (40.6%), 7.7% tgt share
WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey: 23 snaps (35.9%), 0.0% tgt share

Denver continues to use five wideouts on a rotating basis making all but Sutton (5-50-0) unplayable. No WR outside of Sutton saw more than 5 targets.

Detroit

Offensive Snaps: 65

RB Jahmyr Gibbs: 45 snaps (69.2%), 71.9% rush share, 15.6% tgt share
RB Craig Reynolds: 10 snaps (15.4%), 12.5% rush share, 3.1% tgt share
RB Jermar Jefferson: 5 snaps (7.7%), 9.4% rush share, 3.1% tgt share
RB Sione Vaki: 5 snaps (7.7%), 0.0% rush share, 6.2% tgt share

David Montgomery was Inactive. As expected, Gibbs (23-109-1, 4-45-0) handled the bulk of RB work including 27 touches. Reynolds worked as the No.2 running back but had just 5 touches.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown: 55 snaps (84.6%), 25.0% tgt share
WR Jameson Williams: 54 snaps (83.1%), 21.9% tgt share
WR Tim Patrick: 42 snaps (64.6%), 3.1% tgt share

Jamo (5-143-1) got loose for an 82-yard bomb. ARSB (6-70-1) led the team with 8 targets.

TE Sam LaPorta: 60 snaps (92.3%), 21.9% tgt share
TE Brock Wright: 34 snaps (52.3%), 0.0% tgt share

LaPorta (4-43-1) has at least 7 targets in each of his last three games.

Green Bay

Offensive Snaps: 69

RB Josh Jacobs: 28 snaps (40.6%), 33.3% rush share, 14.8% tgt share
RB Emanuel Wilson: 25 snaps (36.2%), 28.2% rush share, 3.7% tgt share
RB Chris Brooks: 22 snaps (31.9%), 15.4% rush share, 3.7% tgt share

The Packers were hoping to lighten the load on Jacobs (13-69-1, 4-38-0) in this game and that’s exactly what happened as they blanked the Saints 34-0. Wilson (11-52-1, 1-4-0) and Brooks (6-23-1) combined for 19 touches and all three Green Bay RBs scored.

WR Jayden Reed: 40 snaps (58.0%), 14.8% tgt share
WR Romeo Doubs: 46 snaps (66.7%), 11.1% tgt share
WR Christian Watson: 30 snaps (43.5%), 3.7% tgt share
WR Dontayvion Wicks: 42 snaps (60.9%), 25.9% tgt share
WR Bo Melton: 22 snaps (31.9%), 3.7% tgt share

Watson (2 touches) left the game with a knee injury. Jordan Love only threw for 182 yards and 1 TD. Wicks (3-13-1) led the wideouts with 7 targets but Reed had the best stat line (3-76-0).

TE Tucker Kraft: 43 snaps (62.3%), 14.8% tgt share
TE John FitzPatrick: 26 snaps (37.7%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Luke Musgrave: 8 snaps (11.6%), 3.7% tgt share

Musgrave (1 tgt) played limited snaps in his first game back since Week 4. He won’t be a fantasy option in Week 17.

Houston

Offensive Snaps: 59

RB Joe Mixon: 39 snaps (66.1%), 82.4% rush share, 5.4% tgt share
RB Dare Ogunbowale: 16 snaps (27.1%), 0.0% rush share, 5.4% tgt share
RB Dameon Pierce: 4 snaps (6.8%), 5.9% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

Mixon (14-57-0, 1-14-0) got 15 touches in a difficult matchup. He led all running backs in Week 16 with an 82.4% rush share. After an outstanding season, he’s now disappointed in three out of the last four weeks in matchups against TEN, MIA and KC.

WR Nico Collins: 50 snaps (84.7%), 27.0% tgt share
WR Xavier Hutchinson: 34 snaps (57.6%), 2.7% tgt share
WR Robert Woods: 34 snaps (57.6%), 16.2% tgt share
WR Tank Dell: 30 snaps (50.8%), 18.9% tgt share

Dell (6-98-1) was on his way to his best fantasy game of the season but suffered a dislocated knee cap on his TD catch early in the 3rd quarter. Woods (6 tgts) and Hutchinson (1 tgt) should pick up the playing time while Dell is out.

TE Dalton Schultz: 48 snaps (81.4%), 21.6% tgt share
TE Irv Smith: 18 snaps (30.5%), 0.0% tgt share

8 targets for Schultz (5-45-1) tied his season high back in Week 6. His TD was just his 2nd of the season.

Indianapolis

Offensive Snaps: 62

RB Jonathan Taylor: 47 snaps (75.8%), 58.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Trey Sermon: 9 snaps (14.5%), 16.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Tyler Goodson: 6 snaps (9.7%), 8.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

In a strong week for some of the top fantasy football running backs, Taylor (29-218-3) was the best. However, he continues to be absent in the passing game. Indianapolis had 50 carries between A-Rich and the three running backs.

WR Michael Pittman Jr.: 61 snaps (98.4%), 27.3% tgt share
WR Adonai Mitchell: 55 snaps (88.7%), 9.1% tgt share
WR Josh Downs: 36 snaps (58.1%), 36.4% tgt share
WR Ashton Dulin: 9 snaps (14.5%), 0.0% tgt share

It’s notable that Downs (3-61-1) played fewer snaps than Mitchell… although the Colts threw the ball just 11 times!

Jacksonville

Offensive Snaps: 67

RB Travis Etienne: 35 snaps (52.2%), 42.9% rush share, 8.6% tgt share
RB Tank Bigsby: 19 snaps (28.4%), 57.1% rush share, 2.9% tgt share
RB D'Ernest Johnson: 13 snaps (19.4%), 0.0% rush share, 5.7% tgt share

Bigsby (12-50-1, 1-1-0) lost a fumble in this game but received the majority of the rushing work. Etienne (11 touches) is the preferred passing-down back for the Jaguars.

WR Parker Washington: 63 snaps (94.0%), 17.1% tgt share
WR Brian Thomas Jr.: 60 snaps (89.6%), 37.1% tgt share
WR Josh Reynolds: 29 snaps (43.3%), 2.9% tgt share
WR Devin Duvernay: 21 snaps (31.3%), 2.9% tgt share

Thomas (9-132-1) continues to be a beast, leading the team in targets with 13. He’s the only wideout to consider in this passing game.

TE Brenton Strange: 34 snaps (50.7%), 11.4% tgt share
TE Luke Farrell: 32 snaps (47.8%), 8.6% tgt share
TE Josiah Deguara: 17 snaps (25.4%), 2.9% tgt share

A week after seeing 12 targets against the Jets, Strange (2-22-0) saw just 4 targets against the Raiders. He’ll be tough to trust in Week 17.

Kansas City

Offensive Snaps: 74

RB Kareem Hunt: 32 snaps (43.2%), 39.3% rush share, 7.3% tgt share
RB Isiah Pacheco: 26 snaps (35.1%), 32.1% rush share, 4.9% tgt share
RB Samaje Perine: 14 snaps (18.9%), 0.0% rush share, 7.3% tgt share

The Chiefs have been giving Pacheco a slight edge in touches over Hunt the last couple weeks but Hunt got the “hot hand” treatment against the Texans, finishing with a 11-55-1, 2-24-0 line. Splitting just 23 running back touches between two backs is going to make both inconsistent Flex options at best.

WR Xavier Worthy: 59 snaps (79.7%), 26.8% tgt share
WR Justin Watson: 39 snaps (52.7%), 2.4% tgt share
WR DeAndre Hopkins: 36 snaps (48.6%), 9.8% tgt share
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster: 27 snaps (36.5%), 2.4% tgt share
WR Marquise Brown: 20 snaps (27.0%), 19.5% tgt share

Worthy (7-65-1) led the team with 11 targets and also left the game briefly with an ankle issue but later returned. Brown saw his first game action of the season and was predictably limited. He did see 8 targets on just 20 snaps. His snap share should ramp up as the Chiefs get ready for the playoffs.

TE Travis Kelce: 65 snaps (87.8%), 17.1% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 36 snaps (48.6%), 2.4% tgt share

7 targets for Kelce but there is no explosiveness from him anymore. He’s a low-end TE1.

LA Chargers

Offensive Snaps: 65

RB Gus Edwards: 30 snaps (46.2%), 50.0% rush share, 6.7% tgt share
RB Kimani Vidal: 21 snaps (32.3%), 17.9% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Hassan Haskins: 13 snaps (20.0%), 0.0% rush share, 6.7% tgt share

Edwards (14-68-2, 1-3-0) had his best fantasy day of the season, breaking off a 43-yard run and finding the endzone twice. Vidal had just 5 touches.

WR Ladd McConkey: 51 snaps (78.5%), 20.0% tgt share
WR Josh Palmer: 39 snaps (60.0%), 20.0% tgt share
WR Quentin Johnston: 44 snaps (67.7%), 20.0% tgt share

McConkey (6-87-0) once again led the Chargers in receiving but no wideout saw more than 6 targets. 10 different receivers caught passes from Justin Herbert.

TE Stone Smartt: 39 snaps (60.0%), 10.0% tgt share
TE Hayden Hurst: 8 snaps (12.3%), 3.3% tgt share

Will Dissly was Inactive. Hurst (8 snaps) was back in action, but limited, after being absent since Week 10. Smartt (3-37-0) may not be an option moving forward as Hurst ramps up and/or Dissly returns from injury.

LA Rams

Offensive Snaps: 52

RB Kyren Williams: 43 snaps (82.7%), 74.2% rush share, 5.3% tgt share
RB Blake Corum: 9 snaps (17.3%), 16.1% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

Kyren (23-122-1, 1-7-0) was the only fantasy bright spot for the Rams, handling 24 touches in victory over the Jets.

WR Puka Nacua: 42 snaps (80.8%), 47.4% tgt share
WR Cooper Kupp: 40 snaps (76.9%), 15.8% tgt share
WR Demarcus Robinson: 38 snaps (73.1%), 5.3% tgt share
WR Jordan Whittington: 12 snaps (23.1%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Tutu Atwell: 11 snaps (21.2%), 10.5% tgt share

Just 19 pass attempts from Stafford as the Rams ran just 52 plays. Puka (8-56-0) led the team with 9 targets. No other pass catcher had more than 3 (Kupp).

TE Hunter Long: 19 snaps (36.5%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Colby Parkinson: 17 snaps (32.7%), 5.3% tgt share
TE Tyler Higbee: 14 snaps (26.9%), 10.5% tgt share
TE Davis Allen: 12 snaps (23.1%), 0.0% tgt share

Higbee (1-11-1) saw his first game action of the season and scored a TD on his lone catch.

Las Vegas

Offensive Snaps: 74

RB Alexander Mattison: 42 snaps (56.8%), 44.4% rush share, 18.9% tgt share
RB Ameer Abdullah: 32 snaps (43.2%), 25.9% rush share, 16.2% tgt share

Mattison (12-27-1, 4-29-0) and Abdullah (7-38-1, 5-47-0) shared the backfield against the Jaguars. The two combined for 28 touches. Both are worthy options if you think the Raiders can produce 70 plays in a game.

WR Tre Tucker: 68 snaps (91.9%), 10.8% tgt share
WR Jakobi Meyers: 68 snaps (91.9%), 13.5% tgt share
WR Terrace Marshall Jr.: 34 snaps (45.9%), 2.7% tgt share

A disappointing game for Meyers (2-41-0) who had just 5 targets.

TE Brock Bowers: 70 snaps (94.6%), 35.1% tgt share
TE Michael Mayer: 45 snaps (60.8%), 2.7% tgt share

Bowers (11-99-0) led the team with 13 targets. He’s had double-digit targets in 7 games this season. He led all tight ends in Week 16 with a 35.1% target share.

Miami

Offensive Snaps: 67

RB De'Von Achane: 50 snaps (74.6%), 56.7% rush share, 22.6% tgt share
RB Raheem Mostert: 21 snaps (31.3%), 26.7% rush share, 6.5% tgt share
RB Jeff Wilson Jr.: 7 snaps (10.4%), 6.7% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

Another week with Mostert (10 touches) as the No.2 running back. Wilson (2 touches) played instead of Jaylen Wright this week. Achane (17-120-1, 6-70-0) continues to deliver especially in the passing game.

WR Malik Washington: 58 snaps (86.6%), 12.9% tgt share
WR Tyreek Hill: 56 snaps (83.6%), 22.6% tgt share
WR River Cracraft: 18 snaps (26.9%), 9.7% tgt share
WR Erik Ezukanma: 7 snaps (10.4%), 0.0% tgt share

Jaylen Waddle was Inactive. Good to see the high snap share from Washington (3-28-0) but he had just 4 targets. Hill (3-29-1) continues his underwhelming season.

TE Jonnu Smith: 37 snaps (55.2%), 19.4% tgt share
TE Julian Hill: 31 snaps (46.3%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Durham Smythe: 24 snaps (35.8%), 6.5% tgt share

Jonnu (6-62-0) saw 6 targets despite playing just 55 percent of the snaps. He remains a mid-range TE1.

Minnesota

Offensive Snaps: 66

RB Aaron Jones: 54 snaps (81.8%), 75.0% rush share, 14.3% tgt share
RB Cam Akers: 7 snaps (10.6%), 4.2% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

Jones (18-67-0, 3-26-0) got off to a quick start then cooled in the second half but playing over 80 percent of the snaps is ideal. Just 1 touch for Akers.

WR Justin Jefferson: 64 snaps (97.0%), 37.1% tgt share
WR Jordan Addison: 59 snaps (89.4%), 22.9% tgt share
WR Jalen Nailor: 35 snaps (53.0%), 5.7% tgt share

Back-to-back games of 13 targets for Jefferson (10-144-2). Addison had 8 targets and finished with a 5-35-1 line.

TE T.J. Hockenson: 46 snaps (69.7%), 14.3% tgt share
TE Josh Oliver: 31 snaps (47.0%), 2.9% tgt share
TE Johnny Mundt: 10 snaps (15.2%), 0.0% tgt share

A quiet game for Hockenson (5 tgts) who is still sharing too much time with Oliver and Mundt.

New England

Offensive Snaps: 73

RB Antonio Gibson: 43 snaps (58.9%), 33.3% rush share, 6.2% tgt share
RB Rhamondre Stevenson: 32 snaps (43.8%), 40.0% rush share, 3.1% tgt share

Rhamondre (13 touches) and Gibson (12 touches) split the workload almost evenly but Stevenson had the better production with a 12-60-1, 1-13-0 line.

WR Kayshon Boutte: 64 snaps (87.7%), 21.9% tgt share
WR Kendrick Bourne: 51 snaps (69.9%), 6.2% tgt share
WR Demario Douglas: 43 snaps (58.9%), 15.6% tgt share
WR Javon Baker: 8 snaps (11.0%), 3.1% tgt share
WR Ja'Lynn Polk: 3 snaps (4.1%), 0.0% tgt share

Boutte (5-95-1) had his best game of the season on 7 targets. The New England wideouts are not weekly fantasy considerations.

TE Hunter Henry: 61 snaps (83.6%), 28.1% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 50 snaps (68.5%), 15.6% tgt share

Henry led the team with 9 targets but just 4 of them for 39 yards and a TD. Hooper (5 tgts) remains involved which puts a drag on Henry’s ceiling.

New Orleans

Offensive Snaps: 56

RB Jordan Mims: 25 snaps (44.6%), 20.0% rush share, 28.6% tgt share
RB Kendre Miller: 22 snaps (39.3%), 40.0% rush share, 7.1% tgt share
RB Jamaal Williams: 10 snaps (17.9%), % rush share, 0% tgt share

The Saints were first team be shutout this season, losing 34-0 to the Packers. Alvin Kamara was Inactive. 15 rushing attempts were split between three RBs. None of them had success.

WR Kevin Austin Jr.: 50 snaps (89.3%), 14.3% tgt share
WR Dante Pettis: 37 snaps (66.1%), 25.0% tgt share
WR Cedrick Wilson: 31 snaps (55.4%), 3.6% tgt share
WR Mason Tipton: 28 snaps (50.0%), 3.6% tgt share

Marquez Valdes-Scantling was Inactive. When Austin (1-17-0) plays the most snaps for your WR room, you’ve got issues. When Pettis (7 tgts) leads your team in targets, you’ve got issues.

TE Juwan Johnson: 41 snaps (73.2%), 7.1% tgt share
TE Foster Moreau: 27 snaps (48.2%), 10.7% tgt share

Moreau (3 tgts) led the team in receiving with 33 yards.

NY Giants

Offensive Snaps: 59

RB Tyrone Tracy Jr.: 37 snaps (62.7%), 53.8% rush share, 10.8% tgt share
RB Devin Singletary: 13 snaps (22.0%), 30.8% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Eric Gray: 9 snaps (15.3%), 0.0% rush share, 2.7% tgt share

Just 13 rushing attempts by the Giants as they trailed from the 2nd quarter on. Tracy posted a 7-26-0, 4-43-1 line.

WR Wan'Dale Robinson: 55 snaps (93.2%), 32.4% tgt share
WR Malik Nabers: 53 snaps (89.8%), 37.8% tgt share
WR Darius Slayton: 50 snaps (84.7%), 5.4% tgt share
WR Jalin Hyatt: 12 snaps (20.3%), 5.4% tgt share

The Giants are now in the driver seat for the No.1 overall pick in next year’s draft. Drew Lock threw two pick-sixes. Nabers (7-68-0) and Wan’Dale (7-62-0) both saw double-digit targets.

TE Daniel Bellinger: 39 snaps (66.1%), 5.4% tgt share
TE Chris Manhertz: 16 snaps (27.1%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Greg Dulcich: 8 snaps (13.6%), 0.0% tgt share

The Giants tight ends combined for 2 targets, both to Bellinger (1-5-0).

NY Jets

Offensive Snaps: 69

RB Breece Hall: 53 snaps (76.8%), 70.0% rush share, 14.3% tgt share
RB Braelon Allen: 10 snaps (14.5%), 10.0% rush share, 2.4% tgt share
RB Isaiah Davis: 10 snaps (14.5%), 15.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

Breece (14-52-0, 5-38-0) got the majority of RB work while Allen (2-5-0, 1-5-0) and Davis (3-12-0) split the backup role. This puts Breece back in the solid RB2 conversation.

WR Garrett Wilson: 69 snaps (100.0%), 16.7% tgt share
WR Davante Adams: 67 snaps (97.1%), 31.0% tgt share
WR Allen Lazard: 51 snaps (73.9%), 11.9% tgt share

Adams (13 tgts) continues to be the favorite over Wilson (7 tgts) for targets leaving Wilson in Flex territory. Lazard has a lock on the No.3 receiver role in this offense.

TE Tyler Conklin: 53 snaps (76.8%), 16.7% tgt share
TE Jeremy Ruckert: 20 snaps (29.0%), 4.8% tgt share
TE Kenny Yeboah: 12 snaps (17.4%), 2.4% tgt share

Conklin (5-59-0) had a respectable game for a tight end but don’t expect this to continue over the final two games of the regular season.

Philadelphia

Offensive Snaps: 74

RB Saquon Barkley: 61 snaps (82.4%), 74.4% rush share, 4.0% tgt share
RB Kenneth Gainwell: 14 snaps (18.9%), 10.3% rush share, 4.0% tgt share

Barkley was back in form, posting a 29-150-2 line with zero receptions as they leaned on him with Hurts missing most of the game. Gainwell saw just 5 touches.

WR A.J. Brown: 74 snaps (100.0%), 60.0% tgt share
WR DeVonta Smith: 61 snaps (82.4%), 32.0% tgt share
WR Jahan Dotson: 47 snaps (63.5%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Johnny Wilson: 9 snaps (12.2%), 0.0% tgt share

Jalen Hurts played just 12 snaps before leaving with a concussion. Brown (15 tgts) and Smith (8 tgts) were the only two Eagles’ wideouts to see a target. Smith had a costly drop late in the 4th quarter that could’ve changed the outcome of the game against the Commanders. Brown led all wide receivers in Week 16 with a 60.0% target share.

TE Grant Calcaterra: 66 snaps (89.2%), 0.0% tgt share
TE C.J. Uzomah: 30 snaps (40.5%), 0.0% tgt share

Literally nothing to see here.

Pittsburgh

Offensive Snaps: 60

RB Jaylen Warren: 40 snaps (66.7%), 50.0% rush share, 19.2% tgt share
RB Najee Harris: 17 snaps (28.3%), 37.5% rush share, 3.8% tgt share
RB Cordarrelle Patterson: 3 snaps (5.0%), 0.0% rush share, 3.8% tgt share

Warren (12-48-0, 5-44-0) saw more action than Najee (9-42-0) in this game. This was the gameplan according to the TV announcers. Will it continue in Week 17?

WR Calvin Austin: 48 snaps (80.0%), 19.2% tgt share
WR Van Jefferson: 47 snaps (78.3%), 11.5% tgt share
WR Scotty Miller: 26 snaps (43.3%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Mike Williams: 22 snaps (36.7%), 11.5% tgt share
WR Ben Skowronek: 10 snaps (16.7%), 7.7% tgt share

George Pickens was Inactive, but reportedly has a better chance to play in Week 17. Austin (4-65-0) led the Steelers wideouts with just 5 targets. He’s just a flex option at best even with Pickens out of the lineup.

TE Pat Freiermuth: 41 snaps (68.3%), 11.5% tgt share
TE Darnell Washington: 26 snaps (43.3%), 0.0% tgt share
TE MyCole Pruitt: 14 snaps (23.3%), 7.7% tgt share
TE Connor Heyward: 6 snaps (10.0%), 3.8% tgt share

It’s difficult to be fantasy worthy when Freiermuth (3-16-0) gets just 3 targets and is sharing time with three other tight ends.

Seattle

Offensive Snaps: 64

RB Kenneth Walker: 38 snaps (59.4%), 53.3% rush share, 19.0% tgt share
RB Zach Charbonnet: 14 snaps (21.9%), 6.7% rush share, 4.8% tgt share
RB Kenny McIntosh: 12 snaps (18.8%), 20.0% rush share, 2.4% tgt share

Walker (8-31-0, 8-28-0) returned to his lead back role and was the recipient of a lot of dump offs from Geno. Charbonnet had just 3 touches.

WR DK Metcalf: 57 snaps (89.1%), 16.7% tgt share
WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 56 snaps (87.5%), 28.6% tgt share
WR Tyler Lockett: 44 snaps (68.8%), 4.8% tgt share
WR Jake Bobo: 12 snaps (18.8%), 2.4% tgt share

JSN (8-95-1) continues to be the top WR in Seattle. He led the team with 12 targets. Metcalf (7 tgts) scored for the first time since Week 7.

TE Noah Fant: 46 snaps (71.9%), 14.3% tgt share
TE Pharaoh Brown: 21 snaps (32.8%), 2.4% tgt share
TE AJ Barner: 19 snaps (29.7%), 4.8% tgt share

6 targets for Fant (3-50-0) but fellow TE Barner (2 tgts) got the TD.

San Francisco

Offensive Snaps: 64

RB Patrick Taylor: 51 snaps (79.7%), 44.4% rush share, 13.5% tgt share

The 49ers used Deebo (5 carries) as their backup running back. Just 9 touches for Taylor (8-24-0, 1-1-0) as the 49ers leaned on Purdy and the passing game.

WR Jauan Jennings: 60 snaps (93.8%), 16.2% tgt share
WR Deebo Samuel Sr.: 53 snaps (82.8%), 27.8% rush share, 24.3% tgt share
WR Ricky Pearsall: 46 snaps (71.9%), 10.8% tgt share

40 attempts for Purdy. Deebo (7-96-1, 5-25-0) looked like the Deebo of old, breaking tackles and making plays. It was his best fantasy game since Week 6. Jennings (6 tgts) took a back seat to Deebo and Kittle this week.

TE George Kittle: 63 snaps (98.4%), 24.3% tgt share
TE Eric Saubert: 10 snaps (15.6%), 2.7% tgt share

Kittle (8-106-0) tied Deebo for the team lead with 9 targets.

Tampa Bay

Offensive Snaps: 72

RB Bucky Irving: 41 snaps (56.9%), 69.6% rush share, 7.0% tgt share
RB Rachaad White: 36 snaps (50.0%), 13.0% rush share, 18.6% tgt share

No work for Sean Tucker in this game. White (3-10-0, 7-50-0) is the preferred option on third downs and in the two-minute drill, making him better in PPR leagues. Bucky (16-68-1, 3-24-0) saw the bulk of the rushing work and scored.

WR Jalen McMillan: 60 snaps (83.3%), 16.3% tgt share
WR Mike Evans: 58 snaps (80.6%), 18.6% tgt share
WR Ryan Miller: 33 snaps (45.8%), 4.7% tgt share
WR Sterling Shepard: 24 snaps (33.3%), 7.0% tgt share
WR Rakim Jarrett: 13 snaps (18.1%), 2.3% tgt share
WR Trey Palmer: 13 snaps (18.1%), 9.3% tgt share

The Bucs used 6 wide receivers and all of them had at least 1 catch. Shephard (1-20-0) injured his hamstring. McMillan (5-57-1) is on a three-game heater scoring four times in that span. Evans had 8 targets and needs 182 yards over his last two games to reach 1000 for the season.

TE Payne Durham: 67 snaps (93.1%), 16.3% tgt share
TE Ko Kieft: 12 snaps (16.7%), 0.0% tgt share

Cade Otton was Inactive. Durham (7 tgts) stepped right into Otton’s role and played most of the game.

Tennessee

Offensive Snaps: 61

RB Tyjae Spears: 37 snaps (60.7%), 45.5% rush share, 12.1% tgt share
RB Tony Pollard: 24 snaps (39.3%), 36.4% rush share, 12.1% tgt share

Pollard (8-35-0, 2-5-0) came into the game with an ankle injury and ceded some work to Spears (10-27-2, 3-39-0). Spears now has 4 TDs in his last two games.

WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: 55 snaps (90.2%), 12.1% tgt share
WR Calvin Ridley: 54 snaps (88.5%), 15.2% tgt share
WR Tyler Boyd: 31 snaps (50.8%), 9.1% tgt share
WR Mason Kinsey: 14 snaps (23.0%), 3.0% tgt share

Mason Rudolph threw 3 INTs. Just 5 targets for Ridley (3-78-1) who continues to be a volatile WR3.

TE Chigoziem Okonkwo: 52 snaps (85.2%), 33.3% tgt share
TE Nick Vannett: 16 snaps (26.2%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Josh Whyle: 9 snaps (14.8%), 0.0% tgt share

Chig (9-81-0) now has 21 targets in his last two games. He’s a worthy TE streamer if you’re looking for help at the position.

Washington

Offensive Snaps: 68

RB Brian Robinson Jr.: 43 snaps (63.2%), 41.7% rush share, 8.3% tgt share
RB Jeremy McNichols: 19 snaps (27.9%), 8.3% rush share, 11.1% tgt share
RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.: 7 snaps (10.3%), 12.5% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

A rough game for Robinson (10-24-0, 2-17-0) who fumbled twice. McNichols and Rodriguez combined for 9 touches. Jayden Daniels (9-81-0) did most of the damage on the ground for the Commanders.

WR Terry McLaurin: 62 snaps (91.2%), 16.7% tgt share
WR Olamide Zaccheaus: 47 snaps (69.1%), 22.2% tgt share
WR Dyami Brown: 45 snaps (66.2%), 13.9% tgt share
WR Jamison Crowder: 31 snaps (45.6%), 11.1% tgt share
WR Luke McCaffrey: 9 snaps (13.2%), 8.3% tgt share

5 TDs for Daniels in this game against the Eagles. Two apiece for Zaccheaus (5-70-2) and Crowder (2-15-2). McLaurin (5-60-1) had just 6 targets but made the most of them.

TE Zach Ertz: 48 snaps (70.6%), 5.6% tgt share
TE John Bates: 24 snaps (35.3%), 2.8% tgt share
TE Ben Sinnott: 5 snaps (7.4%), 0.0% tgt share

Just 3 combined targets for the Washington TEs. Sinnott was a non-factor with Ertz in the lineup.
