TE Trey McBride: 58 snaps (87.9%), 23.5% tgt share
TE Tip Reiman: 33 snaps (50.0%), 8.8% tgt share
Need to know: Big loss for the
Cardinals offense as Conner is out for the season with an ankle
injury. This offense struggles to maintain drives but Benson is
now in the weekly RB2 conversation moving forward. Demercado will
work as the backup and change-of-pace. Bad game for Harrison as
he committed an ugly drop and often looked out of sync with Murray.
McBride (8 tgts) is the only comfortable fantasy option in this
offense right now.
TE Kyle Pitts: 54 snaps (81.8%), 14.6% tgt share
TE Charlie Woerner: 14 snaps (21.2%), 2.4% tgt share
Need to know: Disaster for the
Falcons who failed to score a point against Carolina. Kirk Cousins
got the in game during mop-up time in the 4th quarter. Mooney
(4-44-0) led the team in targets (11).
TE Mark Andrews: 46 snaps (80.7%), 21.4% tgt share
TE Charlie Kolar: 29 snaps (50.9%), 10.7% tgt share
Need to know: Another costly fumble
for Henry and the Ravens. For the most part, Henry (12-50-1) comes
off the field when the Ravens are behind double-digits in the
2nd half which is why Justice Hill out-snapped him in this game.
Big night for Mark Andrews (6-91-2) who had been quiet thus far
in the season. Isaiah Likely (foot) is close to returning? Low
snap count again for Hopkins. He’s not a volume receiver
in this offense.
TE Dalton Kincaid: 33 snaps (55.0%), 22.2% tgt share
TE Dawson Knox: 32 snaps (53.3%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Jackson Hawes: 26 snaps (43.3%), 3.7% tgt share
Need to know: We expected less rushing from
Josh Allen (4-25-0) due to his broken nose and that’s what
we got. Cook has at least 18 touches in each game this season
– averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Three-man rotation at TE,
which isn’t great, but Kincaid (5-66-1) had saw all but
1 TE target.
Need to know: WR Xavier Legette
(hamstring) was inactive. WR David Moore moved into a starting
role but had just 1 target. TE Ja'Tavion Sanders will miss multiple
weeks with a high ankle sprain. As a result, Tremble should get
more reps moving forward.
Need to know: Bears got to pick
on the weak Dallas-D. Despite scoring a TD in this game, DJ Moore
(4-21-1; 3 carries, 7 yds) looks like he’d rather be somewhere
else. Coming out part for Luther Burden III (3-101-1, 1-7-0).
Loveland (1-31-0) suffered a hip injury but should be OK for Week
4.
TE Drew Sample: 38 snaps (67.9%), 11.5% tgt share
TE Noah Fant: 18 snaps (32.1%), 19.2% tgt share
TE Mike Gesicki: 17 snaps (30.4%), 11.5% tgt share
TE Cam Grandy: 12 snaps (21.4%), 3.8% tgt share
Need to know: Fant (5 tgts) suffered
a concussion in this game, but he’s been earing targets despite
a limited number of snaps. He has 14 tgts compared to 10 tgts
for Gesicki. Awful game for Chase Brown (10-3-0, 4-17-0) as the
Bengals got blown out by the Vikings 48-10.
Need to know: Judkins (19 touches)
has quickly assumed the lead-back role in the Browns offense.
Sampson (5 snaps) is the odd man out for now. Isaiah Bond (65%
of snaps) was the third wideout.
Need to know: Early high-ankle
sprain for Lamb (0 tgts) drained the energy from the Cowboys offense.
TE Jake Ferguson led the team in targets (14). This could be a
trend for as long as Lamb remains on the sidelines. Javonte Williams
(10-76-0, 5-16-0) continues to impress as the lead back.
TE Lucas Krull: 22 snaps (42.3%), 8.7% tgt share
TE Adam Trautman: 19 snaps (36.5%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Nate Adkins: 18 snaps (34.6%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: TE Evan Engram was
Inactive. Box Nix threw for 153 yards – 118 of that went to Courtland
Sutton. Franklin worked as the No.2 wideout for the second-straight
week. Harvey (5 touches) is not seeing enough volume to be fantasy
relevant right now.
Need to know: Gibbs (22-67-2, 5-32-0)
got credited with a 9-yard loss on a backwards pass/fumble that
he recovered. Otherwise, a big night for him and David Montgomery
(12-151-2, 1-13-0) who both scored twice. Just 28 pass attempts
from Goff as the Lions kept the ball on the ground most of the
night.
Need to know: With Jayden Reed
out, WR Matthew Golden had 7 touches for 61 total yards, including
3 carries. As expected, Doubs, Golden and Wicks played the most
snaps at wideout. Jacobs (16-30-0, 5-44-0) led the team with 9
targets! Kraft (3-29-0) played his normal amount of snaps despite
being on the injury report this week with a knee issue.
Need to know: The Texans offense
remains broken. Marks has taken control of the No.2 running back
role, for whatever that’s worth. Christian Kirk’s first game of
the season saw him play the 2nd most snaps of any HOU wideout
behind Nico. Hutchinson played ahead of both rookies (Higgins,
Noel).
TE Tyler Warren: 39 snaps (68.4%), 20.0% tgt share
TE Mo Alie-Cox: 28 snaps (49.1%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Andrew Ogletree: 19 snaps (33.3%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Monster week for
Taylor (17-102-3, 3-16-0). Pierce (4-67-0) suffered a concussion
in this game. TE Tyler Warren was on the injury report leading
up to the game. He played fewer snaps this week but in part that
was due to the Colts commanding win over the Titans, 41-20.
TE Brenton Strange: 58 snaps (82.9%), 18.4% tgt share
TE Johnny Mundt: 18 snaps (25.7%), 2.6% tgt share
TE Hunter Long: 14 snaps (20.0%), 7.9% tgt share
Need to know: LeQuint Allen is
being used on third downs which is sapping the fantasy value of
both Etienne and Tuten. Parker Washington led the team in targets
(11), while Brian Thomas Jr. (6 tgts, 2 catches) continues to
struggle connecting with Lawrence. WR Dyami Brown (3 tgts) left
with a shoulder injury.
TE Travis Kelce: 53 snaps (73.6%), 20.0% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 49 snaps (68.1%), 17.1% tgt share
TE Robert Tonyan: 10 snaps (13.9%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Tyquan Thornton (9
tgts) is the only interesting piece in the Chiefs offense right
now. Perhaps we see Worthy (shoulder) in Week 4? RB work is being
split almost evenly between Pacheco (11 touches) and Hunt (11
touches). Neither is efficient so they both have mild fantasy
value.
Need to know: Najee Harris suffered
a season-ending Achilles injury. Haskins should get more work
in the backup role behind Hampton (25 touches). McConkey (7 tgts)
once again played the most snaps but targets continue to be spread
to Johnston (10) and Keenan (11). With Will Dissly out, rookie
TE Oronde Gadsen II (5-46-0) saw 7 targets. Keep in mind, the
Chargers ran 86 plays.
Need to know: We love a concentrated
offense and that’s what we continue to get with the Rams. It’s
Kyren, Puka and Davante for now and that’s it. Puka’s 45.6% target
share led all wide receivers in Week 3.
TE Brock Bowers: 55 snaps (83.3%), 18.5% tgt share
TE Ian Thomas: 19 snaps (28.8%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Michael Mayer: 5 snaps (7.6%), 3.7% tgt share
Need to know: Have a game Tre Tucker
(8-145-3)! He’s the clear No.2 wideout on this team, playing
94% of the snaps. He should be rostered everywhere. Jeanty’s
role in the passing game has been a disappointment so far. Just
5 catches for 3 yards in three games. Speaking of disappointments:
Brock Bowers (4-38-0, 5 tgts).
TE Julian Hill: 34 snaps (55.7%), 3.0% tgt share
TE Tanner Conner: 26 snaps (42.6%), 6.1% tgt share
Need to know: TE Darren Waller was inactive
but might be back in Week 4. RB Jaylen Wright was active but didn’t
get a snap. Decent usage for Gordon (9-38-1) who’s used
in short-yardage and some goaline situations but doesn’t
offer much in the passing game. Hill, Achane and Waddle combined
for 75.7% of the targets.
TE Hunter Henry: 60 snaps (81.1%), 30.6% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 48 snaps (64.9%), 8.3% tgt share
Need to know: Two fumbles by Rhamondre
and a fumble by Gibson force the hand of the Patriots. Unfortunately,
Henderson (14 touches, 47 yds) didn’t do much with his opportunity.
Huge game for Hunter Henry (8-90-2) as he led the team with 11
tgts. No other player had more than 4. Diggs remains a part-time
player and can’t be trusted in lineups right now.
TE Juwan Johnson: 66 snaps (90.4%), 19.5% tgt share
TE Jack Stoll: 23 snaps (31.5%), 7.3% tgt share
Need to know: WR Devaughn Vele
was Inactive. Olave (10-57-0) led the team with 14 targets. Juwan
Johnson (6-51-0, 8 tgts) is a legit TE1 given his usage over the
first three weeks.
Need to know: QB Russell Wilson
(18 of 32, 160-0-2; 5-27-0) made some curious decisions in this
game. Not sure when we’ll see Jaxon Dart as the starter, but it’s
coming. Tyrone Tracy Jr. injured his shoulder and will be out
awhile. Cam Skattebo (10-60-1, 6-61-0) moves up to the top RB
on the depth chart. Devin Singletary will be the No.2.
Need to know: QB Justin Fields
(concussion) was Inactive. 13 targets for Garrett Wilson (10-84-1).
Arian Smith was the No.2 wideout for the Jets but he’s not a fantasy
factor.
Need to know: Passing game gets
going for the Eagles as they fell behind two scores to the Rams.
Result: Hurts (226-3-0, 9-40-1) is the top fantasy QB scorer heading
into Monday night. Will Shipley (oblique) was Inactive.
Need to know: It’s difficult to
get a lot of fantasy production out of the Steelers players when
the offense is averaging 57 plays a game. Welcome to an Aaron
Rodgers-led offense. 23 touches, 81 yards for Jalen Warren. Rookie
RB Kaleb Johnson was active, but didn’t get a snap.
TE AJ Barner: 31 snaps (54.4%), 5.0% tgt share
TE Elijah Arroyo: 28 snaps (49.1%), 5.0% tgt share
TE Eric Saubert: 26 snaps (45.6%), 5.0% tgt share
TE Robbie Ouzts: 14 snaps (24.6%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Brady Russell: 7 snaps (12.3%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: RB Zach Charbonnet
was Inactive. George Holani worked as the No.2 RB. Kenneth Walker
(16-38-2, 1-12-0) had a decent fantasy day despite a special teams
touchdown and number runs called back due to penalties.
TE Jake Tonges: 45 snaps (69.2%), 7.9% tgt share
TE Luke Farrell: 30 snaps (46.2%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: WR Jauan Jennings
and QB Brock Purdy were inactive. Pearsall (8-117-0) was elevated
to the No.1 wideout in this game and saw 11 targets - 15 targets
for McCaffrey led the team. Bourne was the No.2 wideout and we
had a Skyy Moore (1 tgt) sighting as the No.3.
TE Cade Otton: 66 snaps (91.7%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Payne Durham: 23 snaps (31.9%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Ko Kieft: 16 snaps (22.2%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Mike Evans (4-33-1,
8 tgts) left this game with a hamstring injury. Egbuka continues
to impress. Chris Godwin is expected to play in Week 4. How much
he plays is unknown right now but if Evans sits, he could get
a full workload. 29 touches for Bucky Irving (25-66-0, 4-33-0).
Cade Otton had a 91.7% snap share and didn’t see a target.
Need to know: The struggle continues
for Ridley who had 7 targets but just one catch. Chig (5-66-0)
had his most productive game so far this season. Role continues
to be strong for Pollard (16-45-1, 2-14-0).
TE Ben Sinnott: 33 snaps (56.9%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Zach Ertz: 30 snaps (51.7%), 16.7% tgt share
TE Colson Yankoff: 20 snaps (34.5%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Jayden Daniels (knee)
was Inactive. Our first look at the running backs with Ekeler
out gave us a three-man committee with none of them playing more
than 40% of the snaps. Keep in mind, there’s also a running
QB in this offense. WAS was up 34-10 in the 3rd quarter which
led to backup receivers and tight ends playing more than usual.
