Another disappointing output for Bijan (15 touches) given
the Falcons had 87 snaps on offense. He has 1 TD through five
games. This 65-35 snap share split with Allgeier should continue
moving forward.
58 pass attempts for Cousins who threw for 509 yards and
4 TDs, having success picking apart the Tampa secondary with London
(12-154-1) and Mooney (9-105-2). London missed some snaps while
being evaluated for a concussion. He did return.
Easily the best game for Pitts so far this season (7-88-0).
The Falcons won’t have this kind of pass volume often –
if ever again, but hopefully this isn’t Pitts’ high-water
mark for the season.
Henry (16 touches) is game-script dependent as he was on
the sidelines most of the 2nd half while the Ravens were in comeback
mode. Thank goodness for overtime where he ripped off a 51-yard
run.
42 attempts from Lamar and overtime led to a nice day from
Zay (12 tgts). Likely (2), Bateman and Kolar got the TDs however.
TE Isaiah Likely: 55 snaps (70.5%), 7.3% tgt share
TE Mark Andrews: 43 snaps (55.1%), 12.2% tgt share
TE Charlie Kolar: 21 snaps (26.9%), 9.8% tgt share
The frustration on Andrews (5 tgts) continues. He had to
go to the ground on a low through from Lamar around the goaline
and would’ve scored on a better throw. Still, with Kolar playing
a meaningful amount, Andrews has the ceiling of a middling TE2
given his current usage.
Ugly day for Josh Allen who completed just 9 of 30 passes.
Shakir was Inactive for this game which allowed increased usage
for Samuel (4 tgts). Bills have a large WR rotation which is killing
the fantasy value of each piece. Hollins led the WR group with
6 tgts.
TE Dalton Kincaid: 38 snaps (62.3%), 20.7% tgt share
TE Dawson Knox: 33 snaps (54.1%), 0.0% tgt share
Another ho-hum game from Kincaid (6 tgts) who hasn’t topped
47 receiving yards in any game this season.
Legette injured his shoulder which allowed Jalen Coker to
play 32 snaps. He caught all four his targets for 68 yards. Ugly
day for the Carolina passing game (172 yds) which saw Bryce Young
return to action late in the game.
Huge game from Burrow (30/39, 392-5-1). It’s pretty clear
who Burrow is looking for when he drops back to pass. Chase (10-193-2)
and Higgins combined for 26 out of 39 targets.
TE Mike Gesicki: 29 snaps (43.3%), 5.1% tgt share
TE Erick All: 35 snaps (52.2%), 5.1% tgt share
We can’t reliably play a Bengals TE with this kind of even
usage.
The clear winner with Brandin Cooks out, is Tolbert who led
the team in targets (10). Note that Brooks (1 tgt) played more
than Turpin (5 tgts) but it was Turpin who was earning targets.
Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson were Inactive. Just 26 pass
attempts for Love. It was Heath and not Melton who ended up working
as the No.3 receiver but both combined for just 5 targets. Wicks
led the group in targets (7) but had just 2 catches.
TE Tucker Kraft: 50 snaps (84.7%), 20.0% tgt share
TE Luke Musgrave: 19 snaps (32.2%), 0.0% tgt share
Kraft (4-88-2) was the star of the Packers passing game this
week. He’s got low-end TE1 value.
Nico injured his hamstring on a 67-yard TD catch. Hutchinson
took his spot in the lineup giving us a good indication of who
to target if/when Nico misses time. A disappointing 4 targets
for Tank who didn’t receive a bump in target share with Nico missing
most of the game.
Flacco at quarterback means we have a higher confidence in
volume for Pittman (8 tgts) and Downs (12 tgts). Three more big
chunk plays for Pierce (3-134-1) today. Dude is averaging 28.3
yards per catch this season!
It appears we're moving towards a split backfield in Jacksonville
which is going to put a cap on Etienne's ceiling. Etienne (12
touches) did miss some time at the end of game with a shoulder
issue.
The Jags used six wideouts this week which created some low
snap shares for their top three guys. Thomas (8 tgts) looks like
a stud. Despite playing the most snaps, Gabe Davis (4 tgts) doesn’t
earn targets like Thomas and Kirk.
Hardman and Skyy Moore both played 8 snaps. Worthy’s role
largely remained the same. It was JuJu got the biggest boost in
usage with Rice out as the Chiefs went to a tight receiver rotation.
JuJu will be a weekly Flex option moving forward. Note, his 50-yard
catch was aided by the defender falling down.
TE Travis Kelce: 65 snaps (77.4%), 29.4% tgt share
Kelce is back seeing a target share that we’re used
to. He’s in the high-end TE1 conversation again.
Cooper Kupp was Inactive. Double-digit targets for Tutu (10),
Whittington (10) and TE Parkinson (13) but nobody could crack
100 yards. If this rotation sticks, Whittington will have a valuable
role as long as Kupp remains out.
Davante Adams was Inactive and not likely to be on the team
much longer. Meyers (9 tgts) continues to work as the No.1 receiver
in this offense with Adams out. Minshew got benched in this game.
Could we see Aidan O'Connell next week?
Achane (concussion) was injured early did not return. Mostert
picked up the slack and worked as the lead back with Wright working
as the No.2. FB Alec Ingold scored the lone Miami TD.
Odell Beckham Jr. was active but played just 11 snaps. Passing
game continues to underperform with Tua out of the lineup. Hill
and Waddle are currently just Flex options.
Aaron Jones left early with a hip injury which allowed Chandler
(16 touches) to work as the lead back. The Vikings have a bye
in Week 6 but Chandler will an easy RB2 if/when Jones misses time.
This passing offense stinks. We’re likely to see Drake Maye
soon. Polk played every snap. Bourne (ACL) is back on the field
but was limited. Expect Polk, Douglas and Bourne to be the three-WR
in the coming weeks.
TE Hunter Henry: 56 snaps (93.3%), 13.3% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 25 snaps (41.7%), 10.0% tgt share
Limited play volume for the Saints as the Chiefs controlled
this game on both sides of the ball. Strong usage once again from
Kamara (17 touches) who led all RBs this week with an 88.7% snap
share. Kendre Miller where are you?
Derek Carr left late in the game with an oblique injury.
It wasn’t a surprise that Olave (2-10-0) got shutdown by Trent
McDuffie which allowed Shaheed (9) to lead the team in targets.
Singletary was Inactive. Gray (7 touches) fumbled which may
have contributed to Tracy’s higher workload. Tracy averaged 7.2
yards per carry on 18 attempts. He’ll be a hot waiver wire add
in leagues where he’s available.
Nabers was Inactive. No problem, the Giants just plugged
Slayton (11 targets) into his role and he succeeded. Hyatt never
saw a target despite playing 48 snaps. He has zero catches on
the season.
TE Theo Johnson: 56 snaps (77.8%), 16.1% tgt share
The rookie tight end had his best game (5-48-0) of the season
so far.
It took 22 targets, but Wilson finally got a 100-yard game!
Rodgers continues to hunt for Lazard (10 tgts) in the redzone.
He now has 4 TDs on the season.
Jaylen Warren and Cordarrelle Patterson were Inactive. This
offense is painful to watch. There’s no juice with Najee (16 touches,
77 yds) and he hasn’t scored a TD this season.
The Steelers limited the snaps of Pickens “in order to get
more productivity and higher quality play” according to Tomlin.
Hmmm… Pickens still saw a healthy target share but he’s likely
frustrated with the general philosophy of this offense and lack
of production.
Only 7 rush attempts for the Seattle RBs this week. Walker
(12 touches) did see 8 targets in the passing game as Seattle
was playing from behind most of the second half.
A 60-40 timeshare split. White (13 touches) broke off a 56-yard
run. His other 9 carries went for 16 yards. Bucky (11 touches)
lost a fumble. Assuming Bucky is not punished for the fumble,
White isn’t going to be the workhorse back he was last season.
Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer were Inactive which allowed
Sterling Shepard (1-4-1, 2 tgts) to work as the No.3 wideout.
No surprise that Evans and Godwin dominated targets (13 of 24).
Robinson (knee) came into the game Questionable so it’s not
surprising he was limited (7 touches). Instead of increasing Ekeler’s
volume, Jeremy McNichols (15 snaps) saw 7 touches. Jayden Daniels
led the team with 11 carries.
