Usage Notes: Week 2

By Mike Krueger | Updated: 9/17/24

Each week, I’ll look at snaps, usage, touches, target shares and pull out the highlights you need to know from each game.

ARI | ATL | BAL | BUF | CAR | CHI | CIN | CLE | DAL | DEN | DET
GB | HOU | IND | JAC | KC | LAC | LAR | LV | MIA | MIN | NE
NO | NYG | NYJ | PHI | PIT | SEA | SF | TB | TEN | WAS

Arizona

Offensive Snaps:66

RB James Conner: 41 snaps (62.1%), 52.5% rush share, 4.8% tgt share
RB Trey Benson: 22 snaps (33.3%), 27.5% rush share, 4.8% tgt share

This game was 24-3 at halftime and 34-10 after three quarters. Blowout for Arizona allowed Benson to get some garbage time run. 40 rush attempts for Arizona. Conner’s lead-back role continues to be solid.

WR Marvin Harrison Jr.: 46 snaps (69.7%), 38.1% tgt share
WR Michael Wilson: 45 snaps (68.2%), 9.5% tgt share
WR Greg Dortch: 23 snaps (34.8%), 9.5% tgt share

TE Trey McBride: 55 snaps (83.3%), 28.6% tgt share
TE Elijah Higgins: 36 snaps (54.5%), 4.8% tgt share

After a dud Week 1, Harrison connected on multiple long plays and had 4-131-2 in the first quarter. Harrison and McBride accounted for 14 of Murray’s 21 attempts.

Atlanta

Offensive Snaps: 61

RB Bijan Robinson: 46 snaps (75.4%), 50% rush share, 17.2% tgt share
RB Tyler Allgeier: 13 snaps (21%), 32.1% rush share, 3.4% tgt share

18 touches, 122 total yards for Bijan.

WR Drake London: 59 snaps (96.7%), 24.1% tgt share
WR Darnell Mooney: 61 snaps (100%), 24.1% tgt share
WR Ray-Ray McCloud: 61 snaps (100%), 17.2% tgt share
TE Kyle Pitts: 45 snaps (73.8%), 13.8% tgt share

The Falcons run a tight ship at receiver. Outside of the top three, no other wideout saw the field. A low pass volume day for Cousins (29 attempts) as the Falcons only had the ball for 24 minutes. London and Mooney tied for the team-lead in targets (7).

Baltimore

Offensive Snaps: 65

RB Derrick Henry: 30 snaps (46.2%), 66.7% rush share, 3.2% tgt share
RB Justice Hill: 35 snaps (53.8%), 14.8% rush share, 6.5% tgt share

We saw a similar snap ratio for Henry and Hill in Week 1 but Henry will obviously get the bulk of the rushing work while Hill plays on passing downs. Henry out-touched Hill 19 to 6.

WR Zay Flowers: 58 snaps (89.2%), 35.5% tgt share
WR Rashod Bateman: 53 snaps (81.5%), 12.9% tgt share
WR Nelson Agholor: 36 snaps (55.4%), 9.7% tgt share

TE Mark Andrews: 41 snaps (63.1%), 16.1% tgt share
TE Isaiah Likely: 32 snaps (49.2%), 9.7% tgt share

Flowers dominated targets (11) with Andrews the next highest (5). Likely can still be a weekly tight end option but he’s not always going to see a 66.2% snap share like he did against the Chiefs in Week 1.

James Cook

Buffalo

Offensive Snaps: 45

RB James Cook: 21 snaps (46.7%), 42.3% rush share, 5.6% tgt share
RB Ray Davis: 14 snaps (31.1%), 34.6% rush share, 5.6% tgt share
RB Ty Johnson: 7 snaps (15.5%), 3.8% rush share, 11.1% tgt share

This was an odd game, where the Bills-D scored resulting in minimal plays (45) for the Bills offense. Likely the lowest play volume Buffalo will have all season. Hard to have any concrete takeaways here other than Cook continues to have a dominant lead-back role.

WR Keon Coleman: 41 snaps (91.1%), 5.6% tgt share
WR Khalil Shakir: 31 snaps (68.9%), 27.8% tgt share
WR Mack Hollins: 32 snaps (71.1%), 5.6% tgt share
WR Curtis Samuel: 12 snaps (26.7%), 0.0% tgt share

Only 19 pass attempts from Josh Allen. Another game where Curtis Samuel is 4th on the depth chart. Bills continue to spread the ball around. Coleman has played the most snaps of any Bills receiver through two games but has just 6 targets.

TE Dalton Kincaid: 19 snaps (42.2%), 22.2% tgt share
TE Dawson Knox: 24 snaps (53.3%), 0.0% tgt share

Despite his low snap count, Kincaid was 2nd on the team in targets (4) behind Shakir (5).

Carolina

Offensive Snaps: 48

RB Chuba Hubbard: 28 snaps (58.3%), 55.6% rush share, 19.2% tgt share
RB Miles Sanders: 20 snaps (41.7%), 38.9% rush share, 11.5% tgt share

Hubbard had an OK day (10-62-0, 4-12-0) thanks to his 6.2 yards per carry but he’s barely hanging on to Flex value in this putrid offense.

WR Diontae Johnson: 45 snaps (93.8%), 23.1% tgt share
WR Adam Thielen: 45 snaps (93.8%), 11.5% tgt share
WR Jonathan Mingo: 30 snaps (62.5%), 7.7% tgt share
WR Xavier Legette: 20 snaps (41.7%), 0.0% tgt share

A minuscule 48 plays for the Panthers. Bryce Young threw for 84 yards… 84 yards! You can’t find fantasy relevant players with this kind of offense. Veteran Andy Dalton taking over in Week 3 may breathe some life into Diontae Johnson.

Chicago

Offensive Snaps: 70

RB D'Andre Swift: 46 snaps (65.7%), 63.6% rush share, 14.7% tgt share
RB Khalil Herbert: 6 snaps (%), 9% rush share, 5.8% tgt share
RB Travis Homer: 20 snaps (28.6%), 4.5% rush share, 0% tgt share

18 touches for Swift but Herbert vultured the TD around the goaline. Homer is playing a third-down / two-minute role but his involvement is killing any stand-alone value for Herbert.

WR D.J. Moore: 69 snaps (98.6%), 29.4% tgt share
WR Rome Odunze: 66 snaps (94.3%), 14.7% tgt share
WR DeAndre Carter: 50 snaps (71.4%), 11.8% tgt share

Keenan Allen (heel) was inactive which allowed Carter to see the field. The Texans pressured Williams relentlessly which led to a second-straight subpar passing game. Zero TDs for Caleb during the first two weeks.

TE Cole Kmet: 54 snaps (77.1%), 14.7% tgt share
TE Gerald Everett: 25 snaps (35.7%), 8.8% tgt share

Kmet took more of the TE snaps this week as opposed to Week 1. Still hovering in low-end TE2 territory given the struggles of the offense.

Cincinnati

Offensive Snaps: 64

RB Zack Moss: 51 snaps (79.7%), 54.5% rush share, 2.9% tgt share
RB Chase Brown: 13 snaps (20.3%), 18.1% rush share, 0% tgt share

Disappointing usage for Brown who was well behind Moss in snaps and touches (13 to 4). Brown is losing Flex value.

WR Ja'Marr Chase: 59 snaps (92.2%), 14.7% tgt share
WR Andrei Iosivas: 49 snaps (76.6%), 11.8% tgt share
WR Trenton Irwin: 35 snaps (54.7%), 17.6% tgt share

A muted game for Chase which can happen against Trent McDuffie. Iosivas converted both of his catches for TDs. Higgins may play in Week 3.

TE Drew Sample: 33 snaps (51.6%), 8.8% tgt share
TE Mike Gesicki: 30 snaps (46.9%), 26.5% tgt share
TE Erick All: 33 snaps (51.6%), 11.8% tgt share

The Chiefs first two opponents have featured the tight end. Likely in Week 1 and the Bengals trio in Week 2. Gesicki led the team with 9 targets. Kyle Pitts up in Week 3.

Cleveland

Offensive Snaps: 72

RB Jerome Ford: 32 snaps (44.4%), 24.1% rush share, 6.1% tgt share
RB Pierre Strong Jr.: 10 snaps (14%), 3.4% rush share, 3% tgt share
RB D’Onta Foreman: 27 snaps (37.5%), 48.3% rush share, 3.0% tgt share

After just 1 snap last week, Foreman split time with Ford as the Browns were playing from in front all game. Foreman out-touched Ford 15 to 8. Ford did break off a 36-yard run.

WR Amari Cooper: 63 snaps (87.5%), 24.2% tgt share
WR Jerry Jeudy: 57 snaps (79.2%), 18.2% tgt share
WR Elijah Moore: 52 snaps (72.2%), 24.2% tgt share

Another sub-200-yard passing game for Watson who has completed 58.2% of his passes through two weeks. Moore and Cooper led the receiving group with 8 targets.

TE Jordan Akins: 35 snaps (48.6%), 3.0% tgt share

Poor usage for Akins who was filling in for the injured David Njoku. We can’t rely on him as a punt TE in DFS or a TE2 in season-long leagues.

Dallas

Offensive Snaps: 70

RB Ezekiel Elliott: 28 snaps (40%), 28.6% rush share, 7.3% tgt share
RB Rico Dowdle: 30 snaps (42.9%), 33.3% rush share, 12.2% tgt share

Dallas got blown out which allowed Deuce Vaughn some playing time and 5 touches. Just 68 rushing yards for Dallas.

WR CeeDee Lamb: 58 snaps (82.9%), 17.1% tgt share
WR Brandin Cooks: 57 snaps (81.4%), 4.9% tgt share
WR Jalen Tolbert: 60 snaps (85.7%), 22.0% tgt share

Tolbert continues to work as the third WR.

TE Luke Schoonmaker: 28 snaps (40%), 14.6% tgt share

Jake Ferguson was inactive due to a knee injury. Schoonmaker caught all 6 of his targets for 43 yards.

Denver

Offensive Snaps: 61

RB Javonte Williams: 40 snaps (65.6%), 57.9% rush share, 15.2% tgt share
RB Jaleel McLaughlin: 17 snaps (28%), 15.7% rush share, 0% tgt share

A step back this week for McLaughlin’s usage. Denver had just 15 carries from their RBs with 11 for Williams.

WR Courtland Sutton: 54 snaps (88.5%), 12.1% tgt share
WR Josh Reynolds: 41 snaps (67.2%), 15.2% tgt share
WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey: 41 snaps (67.2%), 15.2% tgt share

Josh Reynolds is a fine add if you need a WR5. He was on the field 80% of the time in Week 1. Bo Nix doesn’t have a passing TD through two games.

TE Greg Dulcich: 33 snaps (54.1%), 24.2% tgt share
TE Adam Trautman: 25 snaps (41%), 0.0% tgt share

Dulcich saw a team-high 8 targets but caught just 3 for 16 yards. He remains way down the TE2 list until this passing offense picks up steam.

Detroit

Offensive Snaps: 85

RB Jahmyr Gibbs: 53 snaps (62.4%), 48.1% rush share, 13.2% tgt share
RB David Montgomery: 30 snaps (35.3%), 40.7% rush share, 7.5% tgt share

We expect more work from Gibbs when Detroit is behind and this what we saw in Week 2.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown: 79 snaps (92.9%), 35.8% tgt share
WR Jameson Williams: 78 snaps (91.8%), 20.8% tgt share
WR Tim Patrick: 33 snaps (38.8%), 5.7% tgt share
TE Sam LaPorta: 75 snaps (88.2%), 5.7% tgt share

Goff through the Ball 55 times which led to a whopping 19 targets for St. Brown. Jameson is a locked-in WR2 with these kind of usage numbers. Tim Patrick saw his first action this week. This team can’t support another fantasy option but keep Patrick on your radar in case an injury occurs.

Green Bay

Offensive Snaps: 70

RB Josh Jacobs: 47 snaps (67.1%), 60.4% rush share, 0% tgt share
RB Emanuel Wilson: 13 snaps (19%), 9.4% rush share, 0% tgt share
RB MarShawn Lloyd: 10 snaps (14%), 11.3% rush share, 7.6% tgt share

The run-heavy gameplan from the Packers featured 32 carries from Jacobs. Wilson and Lloyd basically split backup duties.

WR Jayden Reed: 39 snaps (55.7%), 15.4% tgt share
WR Romeo Doubs: 55 snaps (78.6%), 23.1% tgt share
WR Christian Watson: 41 snaps (58.6%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Dontayvion Wicks: 36 snaps (51.4%), 30.8% tgt share

A minuscule 14 passing attempts from Malik Willis. Not surprised. You can’t count on any Packers receiver as long as Willis is the QB.

TE Tucker Kraft: 56 snaps (80%), 15.4% tgt share
TE Luke Musgrave: 31 snaps (44.3%), 7.7% tgt share

Two weeks in a row that Kraft has out-snapped Musgrave. The latter is dropable.

Houston

Offensive Snaps: 62

RB Joe Mixon: 29 snaps (46.8%), 40.9% rush share, 14.7% tgt share
RB Cam Akers: 13 snaps (21%), 31.8% rush share, 2.9% tgt share
RB Dare Ogunbowale: 20 snaps (32.3%), 9.1% rush share, 5.9% tgt share

Dameon Pierce was Inactive. Mixon left the game with an ankle injury, returned, then left again. Akers will have a bigger early-down role if Mixon were to miss time.

WR Nico Collins: 52 snaps (83.9%), 29.4% tgt share
WR Stefon Diggs: 50 snaps (80.6%), 17.6% tgt share
WR Tank Dell: 43 snaps (69.4%), 11.8% tgt share

I don’t have enough Nico. Dell is going to be wildly inconsistent as the third option in the passing game.

TE Dalton Schultz: 44 snaps (71%), 8.8% tgt share
TE Brevin Jordan: 27 snaps (43.5%), 2.9% tgt share

Schultz was on the injury report but got cleared on Friday. Snap count was fine, but this team’s receiving production flows through their wideouts. He’s 4th on the target list.

Indianapolis

Offensive Snaps: 56

RB Jonathan Taylor: 29 snaps (51.8%), 66.7% rush share, 12.9% tgt share
RB Trey Sermon: 18 snaps (32%), 11.1% rush share, 3.2% tgt share

Taylor didn’t see the field in the 4th quarter when the Colts were playing catch-up. Sermon was the RB. Steichen’s comment courtesy of James Boyd on X: “We were throwing the football, and we weren't really scheming up passes for the RB there in the 4Q, so we had Trey (Sermon) in there, and I thought he did a good job. I think we only ran it twice."

WR Michael Pittman Jr.: 48 snaps (85.7%), 22.6% tgt share
WR Alec Pierce: 53 snaps (94.6%), 22.6% tgt share
WR Adonai Mitchell: 33 snaps (58.9%), 12.9% tgt share

Another week with Josh Downs inactive. Given his snap count, Pierce is worth a look as a WR4/5. He also tied with Pittman for the team lead in targets (7). This will shift however, once Downs returns.

TE Kylen Granson: 33 snaps (58.9%), 6.5% tgt share

Nothing to see here.

Jacksonville

Offensive Snaps: 60

RB Travis Etienne: 43 snaps (71.7%), 61.9% rush share, 14.8% tgt share
RB Tank Bigsby: 0 snaps (0%), 0% rush share, 0% tgt share
RB D’Ernest Johnson: 17 snaps (28%), 23.8% rush share, 0% tgt share

Bigsby injured his shoulder on a kickoff return and never played an offensive snap which allowed Johnson to fill the No.2 role behind Etienne.

WR Gabe Davis: 57 snaps (95%), 25.9% tgt share
WR Brian Thomas Jr.: 44 snaps (73.3%), 14.8% tgt share
WR Christian Kirk: 53 snaps (88.3%), 14.8% tgt share

Just 3 targets for Kirk as the Jaguars offense is struggling. Brian Thomas is the top fantasy consideration for this group.

TE Brenton Strange: 41 snaps (68.3%), 22.2% tgt share

Engram injured his hamstring in pre-game warmups which led to Brenton Strange playing the most at the TE position. He finished 2nd on the team with 6 targets.

Kansas City

Offensive Snaps: 65

RB Isiah Pacheco: 43 snaps (66.2%), 59.4% rush share, 21.7% tgt share
RB Carson Steele: 14 snaps (22%), 21.8% rush share, 0% tgt share
RB Samaje Perine: 9 snaps (14%), 0% rush share, 4.3% tgt share

7 more rushing attempts than pass attempts for KC as the Bengals played a lot of 2-high safety. The Chiefs lost Pacheco (leg) late in the game and will now be scrambling at RB. Carson Steele likely to see early-down work. CEH may be available beginning Week 5.

WR Rashee Rice: 54 snaps (83.1%), 26.1% tgt share
WR Xavier Worthy: 44 snaps (67.7%), 17.4% tgt share
WR Justin Watson: 29 snaps (44.6%), 8.7% tgt share

The top three WRs remain similar to Week 1. No ramp-up period for Worthy as he’s going to be playing a lot snaps this year with Marquise Brown done for the season. Rice has low-end WR1 upside.

TE Travis Kelce: 59 snaps (90.8%), 13.0% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 37 snaps (56.9%), 0.0% tgt share

A second-straight subpar game for Kelce (3 targets). He’s going to need to be a bigger part of the offense with Pacheco out. Can he deliver or is he too old?

LA Chargers

Offensive Snaps: 69

RB J.K. Dobbins: 32 snaps (46.4%), 38.6% rush share, 5.3% tgt share
RB Gus Edwards: 33 snaps (47.8%), 40.9% rush share, 0% tgt share

It’s alarming that Edwards (18-59-0) didn’t do more in this game as the Chargers ran the ball 44 times. Dobbins (17-131-1) is the clear favorite for production even if the two continue to split time and touches.

WR Josh Palmer: 30 snaps (43.5%), 10.5% tgt share
WR Ladd McConkey: 34 snaps (49.3%), 21.1% tgt share
WR Quentin Johnston: 48 snaps (69.6%), 31.6% tgt share

The Chargers run-heavy gameplan was in full-effect against an inferior opponent. Nothing much for the WRs to do. Johnston led the team with 6 targets.

TE Hayden Hurst: 38 snaps (55.1%), 10.5% tgt share
TE Will Dissly: 35 snaps (50.7%), 15.8% tgt share

We’d need one of the tight ends to start dominating snap share before considering them a TE2 option in fantasy football.

LA Rams

Offensive Snaps: 52

RB Kyren Williams: 41 snaps (78.8%), 60% rush share, 18.5% tgt share
RB Blake Corum: 8 snaps (15%), 40% rush share, 0% tgt share

The Rams got blown-out which allowed Corum to get some run. The run game should get a workout the next few weeks with the Rams hurting at receiver.

WR Cooper Kupp: 27 snaps (51.9%), 22.2% tgt share
WR Demarcus Robinson: 48 snaps (92.3%), 14.8% tgt share
WR Tyler Johnson: 45 snaps (86.5%), 11.1% tgt share
WR Jordan Whittington: 26 snaps (50%), 7.4% tgt share

The disaster against the Cardinals included Kupp getting hurt. He is a candidate to land on IR. Expect Robinson, Johnson, Whittington and Tutu Atwell to be the wideouts for the next few weeks. This team is on life support.

TE Colby Parkinson: 42 snaps (80.8%), 7.4% tgt share

Expected more work for Parkinson this week but he’s still a hold given his snap count and the Rams’ troubles at receiver.

Las Vegas

Offensive Snaps: 63

RB Zamir White: 40 snaps (63.5%), 52.9% rush share, 11.1% tgt share
RB Alexander Mattison: 14 snaps (22%), 23.5% rush share, 5.5% tgt share

More Zamir on the field this week which is promising, but just 12 touches as the Raiders couldn’t move the ball on the ground. Mattison scored for the second consecutive week.

WR Davante Adams: 59 snaps (93.7%), 33.3% tgt share
WR Jakobi Meyers: 59 snaps (93.7%), 13.9% tgt share
WR Tre Tucker: 38 snaps (60.3%), 5.6% tgt share

Adams is the only trustworthy receiver in this offense. Meyers is on the field a lot but has just 8 targets in two games.

TE Brock Bowers: 43 snaps (68.3%), 25.0% tgt share
TE Michael Mayer: 39 snaps (61.9%), 2.8% tgt share

Mayer is seeing the field a good amount as the Raiders run a lot of two tight end sets, but Bowers dominated targets today (9 to 2).

Miami

Offensive Snaps: 76

RB De'Von Achane: 47 snaps (61.8%), 64.7% rush share, 18.9% tgt share
RB Jeff Wilson: 11 snaps (14.4%), 0% rush share, 5.4% tgt share
RB Jaylen Wright: 18 snaps (23.7%), 14.7% rush share, 0% tgt share

What a mess. Raheem Mostert (chest) was Inactive. Wilson left with an oblique injury. Achane remained in the game for much of the 4th quarter. Achane should have a dominant role in the short-term with Mostert and Wilson banged up.

WR Tyreek Hill: 52 snaps (68.4%), 16.2% tgt share
WR Jaylen Waddle: 55 snaps (72.4%), 10.8% tgt share
WR Braxton Berrios: 34 snaps (44.7%), 2.7% tgt share

Tua got concussed in the third quarter. The game quickly turned into a blowout soon after. Hill and Waddle missed a big chunk of the 4th quarter. This offense will be trending downward with Skylar Thompson at QB.

TE Jonnu Smith: 32 snaps (42.1%), 18.9% tgt share
TE Durham Smythe: 33 snaps (43%), 2.7% tgt share

Jonnu and Achane led the team with 7 targets. Jonnu still a low-end TE2 option.

Minnesota

Offensive Snaps: 54

RB Aaron Jones: 33 snaps (61.1%), 37.5% rush share, 25.0% tgt share
RB Ty Chandler: 19 snaps (35%), 41.7% rush share, 0% tgt share

14 touches for Jones, 10 for Chandler. Jones did spend some time in the blue tent.

WR Justin Jefferson: 38 snaps (70.4%), 29.2% tgt share
WR Brandon Powell: 32 snaps (59.3%), 8.3% tgt share
WR Jalen Nailor: 50 snaps (92.6%), 16.7% tgt share

Jordan Addison was inactive. Jefferson left the game with a thigh bruise but not before he scored a 97-yard TD. Impressive snap rate for Nailor who is the obvious No.2 among the Vikings wideouts while Addison is on the shelf.

New England

Offensive Snaps: 68

RB Rhamondre Stevenson: 49 snaps (72.1%), 58.3% rush share, 20.8% tgt share
RB Antonio Gibson: 16 snaps (24%), 30.5% rush share, % tgt share

An impressive 12 touches on just 16 snaps for Gibson. Rhamondre still in workhorse role.

WR K.J. Osborn: 51 snaps (75%), 8.3% tgt share
WR Demario Douglas: 38 snaps (55.9%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Tyquan Thornton: 31 snaps (45.6%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Jay’Lynn Polk: 41 snaps (60.3%), 12.5% tgt share

When half the targets go to the tight ends, it doesn’t lead to great production for the WRs. Polk led all the receivers with just 3 targets.

TE Hunter Henry: 57 snaps (83.8%), 50.0% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 37 snaps (54.4%), 4.2% tgt share

A whopping 12 targets for Henry this week. Easily led all tight ends.

New Orleans

Offensive Snaps: 59

RB Alvin Kamara: 37 snaps (62.7%), 51.3% rush share, 20% tgt share
RB Jamaal Williams: 26 snaps (44.1%), 20.5% rush share, 6.7% tgt share

Kamara went berserk, racking up 180 yards and scoring four times on 22 touches.

WR Chris Olave: 42 snaps (71.2%), 40.0% tgt share
WR Rashid Shaheed: 39 snaps (66.1%), 26.7% tgt share

Just 16 pass attempts for the Saints with Olave and Shaheed the only wideouts to see a target. Don’t need much from the passing game when Kamara goes crazy.

TE Taysom Hill: 28 snaps (47.5%), 7.7% rush share, 6.7% tgt share
TE Foster Moreau: 47 snaps (79.7%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Juwan Johnson: 24 snaps (40.7%), 0.0% tgt share

3 carries and 1 target for Taysom this week. None of the other TEs saw a target.

NY Giants

Offensive Snaps: 56

RB Devin Singletary: 44 snaps (78.6%), 72.7% rush share, 3.7% tgt share
RB Tyrone Tracy Jr.: 12 snaps (%), 4.5% rush share, 0% tgt share

It was Singletary or bust for the Giants RBs. Tracy is the clear No.2 as Eric Gray never saw the field.

WR Malik Nabers: 50 snaps (89.3%), 66.7% tgt share
WR Darius Slayton: 49 snaps (87.5%), 14.8% tgt share
WR Wan'Dale Robinson: 35 snaps (62.5%), 14.8% tgt share
TE Theo Johnson: 44 snaps (78.6%), 0.0% tgt share

18 targets for Nabers. Slayton and Robinson were next on the list with 4 apiece. No targets for the tight ends.

NY Jets

Offensive Snaps: 57

RB Breece Hall: 41 snaps (71.9%), 58.3% rush share, 27.6% tgt share
RB Braelon Allen: 20 snaps (35.1%), 29.2% rush share, 13.8% tgt share

Allen (9 touches, 2 TDs) is going to force the Jets to keep him on the field with this performance. He should be rostered everywhere as at least a contingency play if Breece (21 touches) were to go down.

WR Garrett Wilson: 55 snaps (96.5%), 20.7% tgt share
WR Allen Lazard: 47 snaps (82.5%), 13.8% tgt share
WR Mike Williams: 37 snaps (64.9%), 3.4% tgt share
TE Tyler Conklin: 53 snaps (93%), 6.9% tgt share

More volume is needed in this passing game but the offense moves at a snail’s pace. Williams moved into the third WR role this week. We’ll see if he takes over Lazard’s spot as the No.2 in the not-so-distant future.

Philadelphia

Offensive Snaps: 71

RB Saquon Barkley: 64 snaps (90.1%), 59.5% rush share, 17.2% tgt share
RB Kenneth Gainwell: 7 snaps (9.8%), 5.4% rush share, 0% tgt share

Barkley usage is workhorse level. Hurts (13 carries) is effectively the No.2 running back on the team.

WR DeVonta Smith: 71 snaps (100%), 34.5% tgt share
WR Jahan Dotson: 56 snaps (78.9%), 3.4% tgt share
WR Britain Covey: 23 snaps (32.4%), 20.7% tgt share

A.J. Brown was Inactive. Expecting him back in Week 4. Not surprised that Smith played every snap and received the most targets (10). Dotson worked as the No.2 wideout but only saw 1 target while Covey saw 6. I’d prefer Dotson on the waiver wire, but neither are likely to move the needle.

TE Dallas Goedert: 69 snaps (97.2%), 13.8% tgt share
TE Grant Calcaterra: 28 snaps (39.4%), 6.9% tgt share

A rather quiet game for Goedert, especially considering Brown was out. His snap rate (97.2) was second-highest among TEs this week.

Pittsburgh

Offensive Snaps: 66

RB Najee Harris: 30 snaps (45.5%), 47.2% rush share, 11.1% tgt share
RB Jaylen Warren: 32 snaps (48.5%), 25% rush share, 11.1% tgt share

Almost a 50-50 split for time share this week for Najee and Warren. Harris led in touches 18 to 11. This is the typical scenario we’d expect to see moving forward.

WR George Pickens: 51 snaps (77.3%), 22.2% tgt share
WR Van Jefferson: 54 snaps (81.8%), 16.7% tgt share
WR Calvin Austin: 30 snaps (45.5%), 11.1% tgt share

Given the low passing volume for the Steelers, Pickens is the only fantasy relevant receiver.

TE Pat Freiermuth: 38 snaps (57.6%), 22.2% tgt share
TE Darnell Washington: 29 snaps (43.9%), 5.6% tgt share
TE MyCole Pruitt: 28 snaps (42.4%), 0.0% tgt share

Arthur Smith is playing three tight ends which sucks the value out of Freiermuth. Having a 22% target share doesn’t mean much when you throw the ball just 20 times.

Seattle

Offensive Snaps: 70

RB Zach Charbonnet: 67 snaps (95.7%), 73.7% rush share, 11.6% tgt share

Kenneth Walker (oblique) was Inactive. Charbonnet (19 touches) led all RBs with his 95.7% snap share in Week 2.

WR DK Metcalf: 61 snaps (87.1%), 32.6% tgt share
WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 58 snaps (82.9%), 37.2% tgt share
WR Tyler Lockett: 57 snaps (81.4%), 4.7% tgt share
TE Noah Fant: 57 snaps (81.4%), 7.0% tgt share

Both Metcalf and JSN had double-digit targets. This was JSN’s best game of his young career. He out-touched Lockett 12 to 2.

San Francisco

Offensive Snaps: 70

RB Jordan Mason: 57 snaps (81.4%), 80% rush share, 2.8% tgt share

Mason led all RBs with his 80% rush share in Week 2. Guerendo was the only other RB to see a carry (1). Should see more from the rookie with Deebo banged up.

WR Deebo Samuel: 60 snaps (85.7%), 8% rush share, 27.8% tgt share
WR Brandon Aiyuk: 61 snaps (87.1%), 13.9% tgt share
WR Jauan Jennings: 38 snaps (54.3%), 11.1% tgt share
TE George Kittle: 51 snaps (72.9%), 22.2% tgt share

Purdy doesn’t appear to be as comfortable in the pocket. Deebo is set to miss multiple weeks with a calf injury. Expect more from Aiyuk and Kittle moving forward.

Tampa Bay

Offensive Snaps: 48

RB Rachaad White: 34 snaps (70.8%), 43.5% rush share, 5.3% tgt share
RB Bucky Irving: 17 snaps (35%), 30.4% rush share, 0% tgt share

The inefficiency drum beat goes on for White. 10 carries, 18 yards.

WR Mike Evans: 38 snaps (79.2%), 31.6% tgt share
WR Chris Godwin: 38 snaps (79.2%), 42.1% tgt share
WR Jalen McMillan: 38 snaps (79.2%), 10.5% tgt share

Just 19 pass attempts for Mayfield. Godwin led the team in targets (8). Baker needs to be in the mid-30s for pass attempts if McMillian is going to be a fantasy option.

TE Cade Otton: 48 snaps (100%), 10.5% tgt share

Picking up where he left of last year, Otton is on the field for all the snaps but struggles to earn targets.

Tennessee

Offensive Snaps: 66

RB Tony Pollard: 44 snaps (66.7%), 60.7% rush share, 22.2% tgt share
RB Tyjae Spears: 22 snaps (33.3%), 21.4% rush share, 7.4% tgt share

Spears had limited playing time due to injuring his ankle. He’s expected to be OK.

WR Calvin Ridley: 54 snaps (81.8%), 22.2% tgt share
WR DeAndre Hopkins: 29 snaps (43.9%), 7.4% tgt share
WR Tyler Boyd: 50 snaps (75.8%), 18.5% tgt share
WR Treylon Burks: 33 snaps (50%), 3.7% tgt share

Hopkins is not startable. Currently playing behind Boyd and Burks.

TE Chigoziem Okonkwo: 32 snaps (48.8%), 11.1% tgt share

Can’t play Chig if he’s splitting this much time with two other tight ends.

Washington

Offensive Snaps: 72

RB Brian Robinson Jr.: 43 snaps (59.7%), 48.6% rush share, 10.3% tgt share
RB Austin Ekeler: 31 snaps (43.1%), 22.9% rush share, 10.3% tgt share

Zero TDs scored by the Commanders offense. Impressive work by Robinson (18 touches) on the ground but still a 60-40 split with Ekeler (11 touches).

WR Terry McLaurin: 66 snaps (91.7%), 27.6% tgt share
WR Luke McCaffrey: 40 snaps (55.6%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Dyami Brown: 50 snaps (69.4%), 13.8% tgt share
TE Zach Ertz: 47 snaps (65.3%), 13.8% tgt share

McLaurin led the team in targets (8) and had six catches but for just 22 yards. Ertz is the only other fantasy consideration in the passing game at the moment.
