Bijan and Allgeier basically split the rushing work but Robinson
got 7 receptions in the passing game, finishing with 20 touches
and a 13-63-0, 7-43-1 line.
Mooney (4-86-1) led the receivers with 7 targets. Quiet day
for London who had just 4 catches and 34 yards.
TE Kyle Pitts: 30 snaps (48.4%), 17.9% tgt share
TE Charlie Woerner: 35 snaps (56.5%), 3.6% tgt share
Huge day for Kyle Pitts (4-91-2) who was fortunate there
wasn’t a down-the-goaline replay on one of his TDs. We’ll take
it! Pitts now has at least 65 yards in each of his last four games.
Henry’s snap count and rush share this week aren't out of
the ordinary, but the Ravens ran the ball just 21 times, including
8 from Lamar Jackson. That left just 12 touches for King Henry
who still finished with 11-73-1 on the ground.
Cooper played 50% of the snaps, up from 34.5% last week.
The Bills are using four receivers on a consistent basis and are
comfortable spreading the ball around. Cooper will have WR2 games
every once in a while, but his stat lines will be volatile. Coleman’s
snap rate doesn’t seem to be affected by Cooper’s presence. Shakir
led the group with 10 targets.
TE Dalton Kincaid: 41 snaps (53.9%), 21.9% tgt share
TE Dawson Knox: 41 snaps (53.9%), 6.2% tgt share
Kincaid (4-31-1) found the endzone but doesn’t even crack
top 12 at the position this week as tight ends went on a scoring
bonanza.
Broncos HC Sean Payton after facing the Panthers: “That’s
not a good offense we played.” Agreed. 17 touches for Chuba Hubbard
who is the only viable fantasy option in Carolina.
Diontae Johnson was Inactive. Will he be traded? Two receivers
did score TDs for Carolina (Coker, Legette) but we shouldn’t expect
this offense to produce any consistent performers in the passing
game. You know you’ve got problems when David Moore (5 tgts) leads
your receiver room in snap share.
Brown (14 touches) got the majority of rushing work while
Moss (9 touches) is playing more on third downs and in the passing
game. For the time being, Brown is the preferred fantasy back
on the Bengals.
Tee Higgins (quad) was Inactive. This dude. It sounds like
he will back in action in Week 9. Chase easily and predictably
led the team with 11 targets.
TE Mike Gesicki: 31 snaps (53.4%), 22.2% tgt share
TE Erick All: 24 snaps (41.4%), 5.6% tgt share
Gesicki (7-73-0) was second on the team in targets (8) after
seeing just 4 targets in his last three games.
As expected, Chubb’s snap share increased this week as did
his touches (16). Now if we can get a little increased efficiency
and some trips to the endzone, we’ll be in good shape. Just 6
total touches for Foreman and Strong.
The switch to Winston at QB unlocked the Browns wideouts
this week. Moore led the team in targets (12) while Tillman (9
tgts) had the best fantasy day with a 7-99-2 line. Even Jeudy
(8-5-79-0) got in the mix. This was a plus matchup so we won’t
get all three of these guys stuffing the stat sheet on a regular
basis, but there is life with these pass catchers as long as Winston
is the QB.
Thanks to a couple of Dak interceptions, the Cowboys’ passing
game was stuck in the mud most of the game until the CeeDee show
begin in the 4th quarter. He had the highest target share of any
WR this week. His massive 13-146-2 line will be the best WR performance
of the week. You can’t trust any other receiver in this offense.
Bo Nix (284-3-0) got the passing game going with 100 yards
for Courtland Sutton (11 tgts) who was coming off a week where
he didn’t see a target. He remains in WR3 territory.
The Lions ran just 48 plays but scored 52 points. Incredible.
Gibbs (12 touches) scored on a 70-yard TD run. Montgomery (10
touches) had 39 yards and 1 TD.
Allen Robinson (1 tgt) snuck into the No.3 wide receiver
role with Jameson Williams out on suspension. Four different receivers
and tight ends caught a TD: LaPorta, Wright, Raymond, and ARSB.
A run-heavy gameplan was used against the Jaguars resulting
in Jacobs’ best game of the season: 25-127-2, 1-(-2)-0. It’s noteworthy
that Brooks (5 touches) played more than Wilson (6 touches) today.
Jordan Love injured his groin and was hobbling around most
of this game until he was replaced by Malik Willis. Watson and
Doubs both had 6 targets to lead the receiving group.
TE Tucker Kraft: 59 snaps (84.3%), 11.1% tgt share
Kraft (3 tgts) connected on a long 67-yard play which made
his fantasy day.
Diggs (9 tgts) injured his knee and it didn’t look good.
Still waiting on reports for the severity. Dell found the endzone
but he’s been a disappointment thus far. He played the most of
any Texans wideout this week but had just 4 targets. Sounds like
Nico will be back in Week 10.
TE Dalton Schultz: 47 snaps (66.2%), 16.7% tgt share
TE Cade Stover: 34 snaps (47.9%), 8.3% tgt share
Schultz (6 tgts) continues to be a middling TE2 as Stover
is getting significant snaps.
Anthony Richardson continues to struggle as a passer, completing
just 31 percent of his passes this week. It’s amazing Downs (9
tgts) was able to crack the 100-yard mark given his quarterbacks
issues. Pittman had just one catch on 6 targets. Total speculation
here, but expect Joe Flacco to start next week.
The Jags WR group took a hit today as Kirk (broken collarbone)
is out for the season and Thomas (4 tgts) may miss a couple weeks
with a chest injury. Gabe also left this game with a shoulder
injury. Washington and Tim Jones are next up on the depth chart.
Hunt continues to dominate opportunities at RB for KC. He
handled 22 of 27 running back touches. He’s had three-straight
games of 20-plus carries and 4 TDs since becoming the starter
in Week 5.
Limited action for Hopkins (3 tgts) in his first game with
the Chiefs. Just 10 catches for the Chiefs wide receivers in this
game. Worthy struggled to make a couple contested catches.
TE Travis Kelce: 57 snaps (79.2%), 34.3% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 52 snaps (72.2%), 8.6% tgt share
Part of the big day for tight ends across the league included
Kelce (12-10-90-1) who had his best fantasy performance of the
season. He had the highest target share of any tight end this
week. Chiefs used a lot of two-TE sets with Gray.
After a strong start to the season, Dobbins (21 touches)
has had trouble with efficiency ever since Week 2. His 21 touches
resulted in 68 yards and 1 TD.
Quentin Johnston was Inactive. Big day for McConkey (6-111-2)
on just 6 targets. Fehoko (2 tgts) joined Palmer and McConkey
as the top three receivers while Johnston was out.
Kyren’s role continues to be one of the best for any running
back in the league. 28 touches for him in Week 7. Corum remains
a high-upside bench stash.
Kupp and Puka both return! Their snaps were limited but their
target shares were not. Stafford targeted them on half of his
attempts (17 of 34). Robinson maintained his role as the No.3
wideout. Expect Kupp and Puka to have an increased snap share
next week. R.I.P. Tutu.
Just two targets this week for Parkinson who’s struggling
to maintain low-end TE2 value with Hunter Long and Davis Allen
also seeing significant snaps.
Meyers (7 tgts) is set to be the lead wide receiver on this
team for the remainder of the season. Despite QB issues, he can
have WR3/Flex value most weeks.
TE Brock Bowers: 53 snaps (91.4%), 18.5% tgt share
Huge snap share for Bowers who caught all five of his targets
for 58 yards.
First game back for Tua was ho-hum. Hill hasn’t had a 100-yard
receiving game since Week 1. Same for Waddle. The third receiver
in this offense isn’t fantasy worthy.
Big snap share for Jones this week as he played all but 4
snaps on offense and handled 21 touches. He had the highest rush
share (86.4%) of any running back this week. Chandler didn’t get
a carry or target as the Vikings ran just 50 plays.
Status quo here for the Vikings receivers with Jefferson
dominating targets (9). Darnold’s two passing TDs went to the
tight end and 4th receiver Trent Sherfield.
TE Josh Oliver: 35 snaps (70%), 8.7% tgt share
TE Johnny Mundt: 31 snaps (62%), 8.7% tgt share
Vikings have been splitting snaps with their tight ends.
Hockenson is expected to play in Week 9.
Drake Maye left this game early with a concussion. Jay’Lynn
Polk was Inactive. Boutte led the team in snaps and has been a
fixture in the starting lineup but he’s not really fantasy worthy
given the struggles of this offense.
TE Hunter Henry: 57 snaps (85.1%), 20.7% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 32 snaps (47.8%), 13.8% tgt share
More solid usage from Henry (6-5-45-0) who is a fixture in
the high-end TE2 conversation.
A whopping 11 targets for Kamara this week, which isn’t surprising
considering the Saints have a weak wide receiver room and quarterback
issues. You won’t believe this, but Kendre Miller (3 touches)
left the game with a hamstring injury.
Olave (14 tgts) managed to crack the 100-yard mark as the
Saints used both Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener at QB. Derek
Carr is expected back in Week 10 which should help the offense
as a whole.
TE Taysom Hill: 29 snaps (39.7%), 19% rush share, 10.5% tgt share
TE Foster Moreau: 57 snaps (78.1%), 2.6% tgt share
TE Juwan Johnson: 32 snaps (43.8%), 10.5% tgt share
Taysom threw a pass, had 4 carries and had 2 catches in his
swiss army knife role. None of these tight ends are playable given
the spread-out usage.
Tracy (22 touches) has taken over this backfield but unfortunately,
he left with a concussion putting his Week 9 status in doubt.
Singletary had just 4 touches but will start Week 9 if Tracy misses.
Giants only used three wide receivers in this game. Nabers
led the group with 13 targets and had one bad drop. Giants were
killing themselves with penalties.
TE Theo Johnson: 70 snaps (97.2%), 10.8% tgt share
Strong snap share for the rookie tight end but he isn’t
earning enough targets to be fantasy relevant.
Allen Lazard was Inactive. Just 28 pass attempts from Rodgers
as the Jets ran the ball 28 times and the offense as a whole moves
at a snail’s pace. Wilson finished with a 5-113-0 line on 8 targets.
Williams (0 tgts) is probably hoping for a trade sooner rather
than later.
23 touches for Barkley who continues to be the focal point
of the offense. Hurts scored 3 rushing TDs which continues to
be an issue for Barkley’s ceiling.
Goedert (hamstring) remained sidelined. Impressive snap share
from the Eagles backup tight end. He’s still not trustworthy given
his low target volume.
Another strong game from Najee (22 touches) who racked up
131 yards. Warren (11 touches) is a viable Flex option as long
as the Steelers continue to use just two running backs like they
did here.
No Steelers wide receiver had more than five targets. Pickens
(4-74-0) had one TD nullified due to penalty, and another overturned
by replay when he couldn’t get two feet in bounds. He’s the only
fantasy viable WR option given the Steelers prefer to throw it
less than 30 times a game.
DK Metcalf was Inactive. The Seahawks offense laid an egg
without Metcalf. Bobo stepped into his role but saw just 1 target.
JSN (6-69-0) led the group with 7 targets. Metcalf should be back
in Week 9.
Mason (6 touches) left early with a shoulder injury which
allowed Guerendo to get the bulk of the running back work (14-85-1).
49ers have a bye in Week 9 and we’re expecting McCaffrey back
in Week 10.
Jauan Jennings was Inactive. Not the typical snap share we
see for Deebo but good enough for 86 total yards. Conley worked
as the starter opposite Deebo but had just 1 target. Bell played
slightly ahead of Jacob Cowing (12 snaps).
Mike Evans was Inactive. The use of Miller is a drag on the
other three receivers. McMillan led the wide receiver group in
targets (7) but the results weren’t there: 4-35-0, 1-17-0.
Otton’s strong usage continues after the Evans and Godwin
injuries. Hed led the team in targtes (10). He’s going to be in
the TE1 conversation as long as Evans is out.
Breakout game for Ridley (10-143-0) who had over 100 yards
in the first quarter. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is basically a full-time
player after the Hopkins trade. Unfortunately, this passing offense
stinks so he’s not fantasy worthy.
McLaurin led the wide receivers with 8 targets. Brown has
solidified his position as the No.2 wide receiver but that role
doesn’t have much fantasy value. The only Commanders TD came on
a Jayden Daniels Hail Mary at the end of the game.
