The Cardinals passing attack has yet to get going this season.
Just 26 pass attempts from Murray. Harrison (6-3-21-0) isn’t keeping
pace with the other rookie receivers in the league. He had a bad
drop late in the game.
TE Trey McBride: 54 snaps (94.7%), 28.0% tgt share
McBride’s usage remains strong for the position, but
he’s yet to score this season as the Cardinals have trouble
moving the ball through the air.
Lamar had a monster passing day (281-5-0) but it didn’t involve
Flowers who had just 1 target. Bateman (4-121-1) hauled in a deep
ball and the rest of the passing TDs went to TEs and RBs.
TE Mark Andrews: 32 snaps (54.2%), 19.0% tgt share
TE Isaiah Likely: 35 snaps (59.3%), 19.0% tgt share
Andrews (4 tgts) has now scored three times in two weeks.
The Ravens are still playing all three of their tight ends so
while the boxscore for Andrews looks good (4-41-2), the consistency
won’t be there with this kind of usage.
Light play volume for the Bills as they hit on a few long
pass plays. Cooper (5 tgts) was limited in his first game. He’s
going to command more snaps moving forward and they’re likely
to come at the expense of Hollins and Coleman.
TE Dalton Kincaid: 40 snaps (72.7%), 18.8% tgt share
TE Dawson Knox: 31 snaps (56.4%), 9.4% tgt share
Kincaid’s 52 yards was a season-high. He’s still in mid-range
TE2 territory, especially with the addition of Cooper.
Another disaster for the Panthers with a miniscule 43 snaps
on offense. Hubbard (17 touches) continued to play in the 4th
quarter despite the blowout loss (40-7) to the Commanders.
Diontae (3 tgts) came into the game with multiple injuries.
Just 18 pass attempts from Dalton and Bryce Young results in zero
WR production. 21-day practice window for Adam Thielen should
be opened this week.
Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles and will miss the remainder
of the season. Dorian Thompson-Robinson was the No.2 QB in this
game but injured his thumb. Jameis Winston in Week 8? Tillman
will be a waiver wire target after seeing 12 targets in this game.
Jeudy disappointed with just 5 targets.
TE David Njoku: 69 snaps (82.1%), 29.2% tgt share
TE Jordan Akins: 18 snaps (21.4%), 8.3% tgt share
With Amari Cooper shipped off to Buffalo, the focal of the
passing offense in this game was Njoku. He led the team with 14
targets. An inflated number consider the Browns had a whopping
84 plays.
Blowout win for the Broncos. Their defense was dominant.
Javonte looked good as the main ball carrier but had just 17 touches.
Bo Nix ran the ball 10 times for 75 yards.
Denver used 5 receivers with Marvin Mims getting on the field
for 12 snaps. Zero targets for Sutton is an anomaly but another
reminder that’s its difficult to count on receiving production
in this offense. Franklin led the receivers with 6 targets. TE
Greg Dulcich was Inactive for the third straight week.
JAMO took a back seat today. Lions passing game is very efficient
and involved Kalif Raymond (3-39-1). ARSB caught all 8 of his
targets for 112 and 1 TD.
With four receivers playing over 40 percent of the snaps,
it’s hard to find consistency with the GB wide receivers. Doubs
led the group with 10 targets. Watson (2 tgts) and Reed (4 tgts)
took a backseat.
TE Tucker Kraft: 55 snaps (94.8%), 12.1% tgt share
Kraft was almost a full-time player. Low-end TE1 role secured.
Second-straight game with Stroud under 200 passing yards.
4 targets for Dell resulted in zero catches. He’s been a bust
thus far. Just 23 yards for Diggs on 7 targets.
Jonathan Taylor was Inactive. Goodson (14 touches) has more
juice than Sermon (9 touches). Won’t be surprised if we see Taylor
back at practice this week.
Anthony Richards (14 carries, 56 yds) back at quarterback
resulted in 129 passing yards and zero TDs. Difficult to play
Pittman and Downs with AR-15 at QB.
Yet another WR injury for KC. JuJu had a hamstring issue
in practice, which he aggravated early in this game. He’s already
been ruled out for Week 8. Worthy, Watson and Hardman are looking
like the top three for next week. Moore stinks and doesn’t command
targets.
TE Travis Kelce: 54 snaps (77.1%), 20.0% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 47 snaps (67.1%), 16.0% tgt share
Gray is more reliable than the backend of the Chiefs WR group.
Kelce (4-17-0) has yet to score this season.
Quentin Johnston was Inactive. Herbert topped 300 passing
yards for the first time this season. Fehoko (6 tgts) is running
ahead of Palmer but this passing game isn’t one to get excited
about.
Hayden Hurst was Inactive and the Chargers were missing two
WRs which allowed increased usage for Dissly (11 tgts). Dissly
will only be a fantasy option if Hurst is out.
Cooper Kupp was Inactive. Welcome back to the mix Tyler Johnson.
He took over Whittington’s role in a big way who was limited due
to his shoulder injury according to McVay. Tutu led all wide receivers
this week with a 40.9% target share. Kupp is expected back in
Week 8 so this rotation will look different. It’s likely to be
Kupp, Robinson and Atwell playing the majority of snaps.
Bowers (14 tgts) is the best fantasy option on this team.
He could easily end up as the overall TE1 this season. He led
all TEs this week with a 40% target share.
Split backfield this week for the Dolphins was Achane (17
touches) and Mostert (11 touches). This whole offense been in
the toilet since Tua was concussed.
Just 2 targets a piece for Tyreek and Waddle. Tua coming
back in Week 8 should spark the offense.
TE Jonnu Smith: 34 snaps (49.3%), 31.8% tgt share
TE Julian Hill: 36 snaps (52.2%), 9.1% tgt share
Jonnu (7-96-1) was the dominant fantasy force in this offense.
HC Mike McDaniel suggested the defense was playing a 2-high safety
look most of the game which forced more opportunities to the tight
end. This will likely be Jonnu’s highest output of the season.
Nothing doing for the Patriots running backs as they were
playing from behind much of the game. Just 9 touches for Rhamondre
resulted in 25 yards. Gibson (4 touches) didn’t play much due
to a knee injury.
Polk is battling the dropsies. Boutte is on the field a lot
but hasn’t topped 3 targets in a game this season. Douglas was
sick and didn’t play much of the game. Why wasn’t he on the injury
report?
TE Hunter Henry: 52 snaps (86.7%), 25.0% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 23 snaps (38.3%), 13.9% tgt share
Henry (8-92-0) led the team in targets and is becoming a
viable streamer with Maye at QB.
Ugly line for Kamara (7-10-0, 6-14-0) as the offense couldn’t
do anything. Miller got his first action of the season. There
was a lot of garbage time in this game but Miller played ahead
of Williams and should be the No.2 RB moving forward.
Rashid Shaheed is out for the year. Chris Olave (concussion)
was Inactive. Tough scene for the Saints offense with no weapons
to speak of outside of Kamara. Rattler threw the ball 35 times
for just 172 yards. Tipton led the receivers with 9 targets.
Singletary (6 touches) returned from injury but played well
behind Tracy (9 touches). Is Tracy the permanent lead back or
was Daboll easing Singletary back in? Likely the latter.
Bad day for the G-men as Daniel Jones got benched. Good to
see Nabers (8 tgts) get a full workload first week back from concussion.
Jalin Hyatt suffered a rib injury and will likely miss time.
HC coaching change has been good for Breece (18 touches,
141 yards, 1 TD). He led all RBs this week with an 80 percent
rush share. He’s back to a workhorse role.
No easing Davante (9 tgts) in. He was a full-time player
in his first game with the Jets. Wilson also had 9 targets. There
are plenty of WR needy teams… will Mike Williams be traded?
You just knew Barkley (17-176-1, 2-11-0) was going to have
a big game against his former team. I’m surprised the 2 short
TDs from Jalen Hurts didn’t go to Barkley as well. Gainwell (13-56-0,
1-11-0) had his biggest statistical output of the season.
Russ Wilson to the rescue? Pickens looked great but was very
fortunate to come away with his 5-111-1 stat line. Regardless,
more accurate deep balls from Russ should be a boost to Pickens
moving forward.
Metcalf (4-99-1) left this game with a knee injury and may
miss some time. If he does, it will be boost for JSN (6 tgts),
Lockett (6 tgts) and Bobo (1 tgt).
Jauan Jennings was Inactive. Devastating knee injury suffered
by Aiyuk who will likely miss the remainder of the season. Deebo
barely played due to illness… which we didn’t out about until
4 minutes before gametime. Pearsall (3-21-0) figures to see consistent
playing time moving forward.
The Bucs stuck to their word and played all three running
backs in this game. The each had 5 carries early on, but ultimately
White (16 touches) and Bucky (12 touches) saw the most playing
time and touches. Tucker had 6 touches. The Bucs ran 82 plays
which won’t happen most weeks. If they keep this three-headed
monster going, it won’t be great for your fantasy team.
Rough night for the Bucs passing game. Evans aggravated his
hamstring injury and seems like he’ll miss some time. Godwin dislocated
his ankle late in the game and is likely out for the year. McMillan,
Palmer and Shepard are likely to be the top three receivers for
the next few weeks.
Otton led the team in targets (10) as the Bucs were down
big most of the game and lost Evans early. Otton is worthy of
a bump up the rankings given the issues Tampa Bay has at receiver.
Tyjae Spears was Inactive. A huge snap rate for Pollard (16-61-0,
2-4-0) but the Titans got trucked by the Bills (34-10) with Mason
Rudolph in at quarterback.
Questionable tag didn’t keep Robinson from playing. Just
12 touches though as the Commanders didn’t need much from their
top RB. Jeremy McNichols mixed in for 7 touches.
Early exit for Jayden Daniels (ribs) wasn’t a problem. Commanders
still routed the Panthers (41-7) behind Marcus Mariota. McLaurin
and Zaccheaus both had 6 targets.
TE Zach Ertz: 40 snaps (58%), 20.0% tgt share
TE Ben Sinnott: 31 snaps (44.9%), 8.0% tgt share
We got a Ben Sinnott (2-6-1) sighting. Just 1 target for
Noah Brown who is filling the No.2 wide receiver role.
