Suspension likely coming for WR Rashee Rice
Gets five years probation and 30 days of jail time
By: Mike Krueger | Jul 17 2025, 12:02 pm

ESPN sources: A Dallas County judge just sentenced Chiefs WR Rashee Rice to five years probation and 30 days of jail time that can be served during those five years stemming for his role in a multi-car crash in Dallas during the 2024 offseason. Now that the judge has ruled, the NFL can expedite its disciplinary process and Rice is likely to receive a multi-game suspension. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: Most in the fantasy football community have been assuming zero games missed for the upcoming season. That's about to change. A four-game suspension wouldn't be shocking but we'll wait for the league to make it's ruling. For now, Rice's value will decline while we'll get a slight bump for Marquise Brown, Xavier Worthy and perhaps JuJu Smith-Schuster.
