Expected to be at minicamp next week

Renegade A-Rod: Four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers informed the #Steelers he’ll fly to Pittsburgh on Friday and sign before next week’s minicamp, sources tell The Insiders. Finally, a done deal: Rodgers, 41, will play his 21st NFL season in black and gold. (Tom Pelissero on X)

FFToday's Take: We've been operating under the assumption that Rodgers would sign with the Steelers and here we are. His fantasy prospects aren't great, especially given Arthur Smith is the OC and Rogers lack of mobility, but his presence should be enough to keep DK Metcalf in the WR2 range.

Jets sign QB Justin Fields, two-year deal

The #Jets are signing QB Justin Fields, per me and @TomPelissero, as Gang Green gets a new starter. Fields says goodbye to Pittsburgh after 1 year. He gets a 2-year deal worth $40M with $30M guaranteed in a deal done by @DavidMulughetaof @AthletesFirst. (Ian Rapoport on X)

FFToday's Take: The Jets have parted ways with Aaron Rodgers after two years and will try their luck with Fields who lost his job as the starter with Steelers last season to Russell Wilson. The Jets have viable weapons at running back (Breece Hall) and receiver (Garrett Wilson) and Fields is capable of providing fantasy points with his legs. He'll be a viable QB2 assuming he lands the starting gig in 2025.
