2024 Outlook
Depth Chart
Calvin Ridley was another preseason darling of the fantasy community last season. Like Pollard, he let drafters down and had a rather pedestrian season. Some are aboard the Ridley hype train once again with reports that he'll see a "Ja'Marr Chase-like" role in the Titans' offense.

This type of usage could be exactly what Ridley needs. Last season in Jacksonville, Ridley was egregiously misused as their vertical, boundary receiver. This is not the role that Ridley is best suited for. Thankfully, Hopkins has built a career in this role.

There are some red flags with Ridely, namely his lack of meaningful fantasy production since 2020. Like the Tennessee running back room, the receiver group features a 1-2 punch that is difficult to project. If Ridley can cement himself as the alpha over Hopkins, he will likely be a quality WR2 for fantasy purposes.

Injury DeAndre Hopkins expected to play Week 1
Fighting through an MCL tear
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Sep 7, 5:21 pm

Tennessee Titans
#Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (questionable, knee) is set to play Sunday at Chicago, per source, though how much he plays is uncertain and could come down to pain management. Hopkins revealed to reporters this week that he’s fighting through an MCL tear. (Jeremy Fowler on X)

FFToday's Take: It sounds like Hopkins could be limited in some fashion tomorrow against the Bears making him more of a WR3 option in Week 1. Hopkins originally suffered the injury in late July and acknowledged it usually takes a full year for the injury to heal. Expect Calvin Ridley to be the main target in the Titans passing game.

Injury DeAndre Hopkins should be ready to go for opener
Suffered knee injury early in camp

Brian Callahan said DeAndre Hopkins should be back soon. The #Titans expect to have him back for the season opener. (ESPN.com - Turron Davenport)

FFToday's Take: This should be good news for every major player involved in the passing game. The Titans undoubtedly want Will Levis to have his top two options in the passing game and Calvin Ridley should benefit from having a player of Hopkins' stature and ability taking defensive attention away from him. We can probably no longer expect Hopkins to be a focal point of a passing game at age 32 and injuries becoming a factor, but it would also be a mistake for fantasy managers to fade him as a potential WR3 option.

Injury DeAndre Hopkins out multiple weeks with knee injury
Strained knee suffered in camp
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Aug 1, 4:57 pm

Tennessee Titans
DeAndre Hopkins suffered a strained knee injury Wednesday or Thursday and indications are he could miss four to six weeks. If he returns to action after four weeks he'd have a full week to prepare for the season-opener in Chicago. Six weeks out would mean he'd miss the Bears' game and could be ready just before the Week Two home opener against the Jets. Though a precautious six weeks out could mean two games missed. (paulkuharsky.com)

FFToday's Take: Those drafting early should brace for a two-game absence from Hopkins as he recovers from this knee issue. Tennessee is expected to open up it's passing game this season but maybe without it's top receiver to start the season. Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd and Treylon Burks figure to be the top three receivers should Hopkins miss any games.
