Jaxson Dart

1) Jaxson Dart vs. Dallas

Dallas has the worst pass defense in the league and just released Trevon Diggs. Morale can’t be good. The Cowboys bags are packed and golf reservations have been made for Monday. They have allowed a league-worst 4,291 yards and 33 touchdown passes. Dart has surpassed 26 fantasy points in two of the three games and four of the last six. As long as he stays out of the blue medical tent, he should be good to go.

2) Bryce Young @ Tampa Bay (Sat)

Young has improved his completion percentage and touchdown total in his third season and has this perennial back marker in line for a playoff game if he can pull out a road win. The Bucs pass defense ranks 31st versus opposing QBs, allowing 24.2 FPts/G. Running QBs have done well against Tampa and Young can use his legs. The warm weather (72’) won’t hurt the offense.

3) Tanner McKee (if he starts) vs. Washington

I’m thinking the Eagles will abandon a run at the second seed, in favor of rest for their weary starters. The advantage of No.2 over No.3 is a home game in the second round… likely to be the Bears who already won in Lincoln Financial Field this season. McGee can spin it and in his only career start went 27-of-41 for 269 yards and two touchdowns back in Week 18 of last year. Deja vu all over again?

1) Malik Willis, Clayton Tune @ Minnesota

No one takes advantage of this Minnesota defense, who’s DC could be auditioning for a head coaching job. His Vikings have allowed less than 3,000 yards in 16 games (186.7 ypg) and less than one touchdown per game. Willis likes to run a bit (104 yards rushing in two starts), but the Vikings allow under 15 QB rushing yards per game.

2) Riley Leonard @ Houston

The rookie quarterback out of Notre Dame should be an easy target for Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter, though a bit more elusive than 44-year-old Philip Rivers. The Texans have almost as many interceptions and touchdown passes allowed (18-17). With a win and a Jaguars loss Houston can still win the division and a home game, while Indianapolis is playing out the string. In his only significant action, Leonard didn't do much against Jacksonville (18-of-29 for 145 yards and one interception) and figures to be just as inept against the strong Houston defense.

3) Any Jet QB other than Joe Namath @ Buffalo

The Jets Brady Cook isn't the answer. The team knows that, the defense knows that and we know that. But he has done his job... get the team a better draft position by losing four consecutive games. He’ll make it five here. He produced single digit fantasy points in three of the four contests. People don’t throw against Buffalo, they run against them early and often. This will be Breece Hall game not a Cook aerial display.
