Jones has found the endzone in three straight games, and gets
a Chicago defense he busted for 106 yards three weeks ago. Attacking
the Bears on the ground is the way to go as they focus so much
attention on the Viking pass catchers. With only 18 carries total
in the last two games Jones is fresh, and further away from his
recent rib injury. Look for Minnesota to lean on the run game
early.
Dowdle looked mighty spry Monday night against the Bengals.
The lack of Cinci run stuffers allowed Dowdle to hit the 2nd level
of the defense untouched several times, and that should continue
against the league worst Carolina run defense. He’s gone
over the century mark in two-straight, and should be an upside
FLEX play in the fantasy playoffs.
Speaking of the struggling Bengal run defense, Pollard makes
for another high upside FLEX in Week 15. The former Cowboy has
been a high-floor play all season, and with Will Levis banged
up, look for the Titans to lean on the run game to control the
clock and keep the potent Cinci offense off the field.
Despite a herculean effort to return from another brutal knee
injury, Chubb has struggled to be anything close to the player
he was. The trademark explosive plays are nonexistent, and he
hasn’t topped 60 yards in a game yet. With the Browns slinging
it around the field, or falling behind early, Chubb just isn’t
making an impact. KC’s elite run defense won’t do
him any favors either.
The Charger run game died along with the injury to J.K. Dobbins,
as Edwards lacks the lateral quickness, and straight-line speed
to be any more than a short-yardage back. A net zero in the passing
game, and slowly losing work to rookie Kimani Vidal, makes Edwards
someone to avoid.
Broncos RBs vs IND
This three-headed menace of a backfield continues to perplex
fantasy owners. Javonte Williams has -1 yards on his last 12 carries.
Rookie Audric Estime hasn’t gotten any play despite being
talked up by Coach Peyton, and outside of a fluky 14-84 game last
week, Jaleel McLaughlin had all but disappeared from the offense.
I can’t imagine trusting any of these guys in the fantasy
playoffs.
